I have an 08 GT500 with about 18k miles, i think its time to replace all 4 rotors and pads. I was hoping to get some suggestions from you guys. I am currently building a home and have to close on it at the end of the month, so $ is extremely tight for the next couple of months. What pads and rotors could i use that wont brake the bank? Even if they serve me for 1 year, i will happily change them out after. I just need something that will work for now until i get settled into the new house.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I will also add that it will only see the track maybe 1-2 times. I primarily drive it on the street 99% of the time. My hardest use of the brake is on deceleration after some hard 4th gear pulls.

Stock rotors from Tousley Ford Parts.

Hawk HPS pads.

Done.

I am pleasantly surprised on the Cmax Gold pads. I decided to try them out with all the positive reviews from members on here. The brake dust has been cut down and perform comparable to the stock pads.

Besides going with another set of stock replacements there's a few good aftermarket options as well. We sell quite a bit of the Baer Eradispeed Plus rotors and Hawk HPS pads. The rotors aren't cheap but they're definitely top shelf.

I too have the C-max pads I'm happy with them, but the rears are making a ton of noise. I think I have bad rattle clips or something.
I did the TPS dimpled rotors as well and for the money, they're hard to beat. No real performance gain, but they look killer behind the open TF's.

Wow so much support for the autozone cmax pads! They seem like a good deal and easy to get. Anybody try the hawk pads? I had them on my GT and they worked pretty well.

As far as rotors, the TPS look very attractive for that price. I would love to get the Lethal rotors but cash is just too tight right now.

I race with the Hawks. Lots of stops from 140mph, over and over.

Still running stock rotors. They're inexpensive and I don't care if theyre pretty.
