Hey guys,

I recently purchased a set of bogart drag wheels for my car, and I'm itching to go to the track.

The rear tires that came on the wheels were 28x10-16 which I ruled out as being too tall. I want to get a 26" tall tire, but don't know what width.

The front tires on my wheels are Hoosiers and they say Hoosier with laces out on both sides. I would like to buy Hoosier rear tires so they match.

The only size Hoosier they make in a 16" wheel that's 26" tall is a 26x9.5-16. So I guess my question is, is a 26x9.5-16 a good size tire for my car? I know with a bias ply slick, it's more about sidewall than width, but is 9.5" width good for my power level?

My car made 502/502. Ported eaton, Longtubes, all supporting mods. My car also has subframes, FTBR IRS kit with the rear bump steer kit, a fully built t56 etc.

Thanks for any input

(Pics are with the 28" tall tires on. I already dismounted them)

As far as I know the two hoosiers are the only options now for a 16 inch bias ply. ET streets have been discontinued.
