I've never seen a mystichrome on black saleens, online or in person.

This is the set-up I am considering.

18x9/18x11 Black Saleens - Yes you read that right. I would have the 18x10 rear wheels widened to 11's by Weldcraft.

335 Hoosiers in the rear. I would do the white letters facing out, to give the car a more business look.

Yay or Nay.... Can a mystichrome pull off this setup? Or would it take away from the car and look too busy...

Here are a few pics:

1. Closest color to Mystichrome I could find with black saleens

2. Older Mystic cobra with black saleens to give somewhat of an idea:

3. Black Saleens with Hoosiers and White Letters:

I think it looks pretty good! Of course the paint draws your attention to it more than the wheels, so it's not like you can really go wrong with any color.

I prefer chrome or polished but thats just my opinion. I think you can pull it off with the right tire/stance combo.

If the car is lowered it will look badass with black saleens and widened rears. I say go for it.

I don't have any pics but I don't hate them but the only reason they are on there is because I had them laying around and my cars getting the engine bay painted and didn't want to take a chance of my chrome RS ten true forged wheels getting messed up some how.

Don't put black wheels on that paint job. The paint was made to pop, and chrome/polished wheels accomplish that. Not doing that color any justice otherwise

I say keep what you have and save your money to get some quality wheels.

I vote no, I had black ccw T10's on my mystichrome and did not like them. They blend in to much and it looks like you are riding around on cheap doughnut spare tires.

Mine had flat black powdercoated cobra wheels when I got it and it looked horrible. I swapped them out for the stock chromies fast.
I can't imagine a shiny black looking much better, though it would still be an improvement over flat black.
Chrome wheels or nothing on mystichrome, IMO.
