Picked up an AEM intake kit for extremely cheap off the Amazon Prime Day deals and along with an old gift card the intake came out to under half the cost. Worth a shot to see how it goes.

still utilizes the lower box and air snorkel from the factory intake system. Top box seals to hood with the rubber piece. So far temps are registering within 3 degrees of the stock box on my daily commute.

Next on the docket is intercooler(either CV Fab or Livernois) and a tune(Livernois or 5 Star SCT X4).

Lethal Performance has a Black Friday sale on the CV Fab Titan which looks to be a direct fit for 2020+ trucks with a supplied coupler. For $541 shipped its a steal.

Thinking this paired with the upcoming SCT X4 7015G version with tunes(93 tow/perf, 93 perf, and E30) from 5 star would be a pretty great combo.

The universe provides.....while skimming for new future Champ Car race cars i found a guy selling a slightly used CV Fab F150 intercooler for a 17-20. Looking at CV Fab's website, the 2021+ requires a coupler to install the top intercooler tube. Come to find out one photo in the ad shows the coupler.

So for $100 less than the Black Friday sale price, i have a CV Fab Titan on its way. Will post when i get it. Quite excited to pair it with one of the tunes available it should really wake the truck up.

Intercooler installed. Thing is a beast compared to the OE.

Did require removal of the shroud around the shutters.

Called Livernois yesterday to buy the tune for the truck. Hoping Hunter calls me back today and i can place my order(crossing my fingers for an SVTP discount). Excited to feel the difference in shift schedules and torque.

Still waiting for Livernois to call me back...

On another note, i did see some oil in the original intercooler when removed. Im guessing the truck needs an oil catch can. Anyone have recommendations?

Cant find the JLT for a 2021?

I see J&L and Mishimoto. The Mishi unit is $422! Holy crap. The J&L seems affordable at $159 and has OE connections on it.

UPR seems nice but ive had issues with some of their products in the past.

J&L came on Friday. Super fast shipping. Everything was very well packaged, all parts accounted for and instructions downloaded.

Went to install today and it fits perfectly. Easy install and fitment is perfect. OE connections and gates tubing feel like they were factory pieces.
