My JLT CAI Just Arrived!! Install and Dyno Tomorrow!!

The UPS man just delivered my JLT carbon fiber CAI kit!! :banana:

I have an appointment in the morning at the dyno.

I'm going to make one pull with the car like it is now (Lethal 3" O/R X-pipe, Flowmaster 'Hushpower' axleback, K&N filter and 93 octane tune by Jon Lund).

Then install the JLT CAI and download my new 93 octane tune for the JLT by Jon Lund and make a couple more pulls.

I will post results tomorrow!!

I took it out the box before I left for work and it looks VERY nice!! :rockon:

I have been very happy with my Lethal Performance 93 octane tune (by Jon Lund) so far. I'm sure Jon's revised version for the JLT CAI will be great also, plus this will also have the skip shift eliminated!!

The list is growing everyday and we are building kits every week. Due to the process of making a CF tube, we don't have the ability to get hundreds done in a week. So we are working very hard to get as many out per week as we can.

If you order today your looking at a 2-3 week wait.

Just got back from the dyno.

Here are the results:

Baseline: 1,300 miles on the car, 6 speed manual, 5th gear pull, 3.73 gears, 3" Lethal O/R X-pipe, Flowmaster 'Hushpower' axleback, K&N filter, Lethal 93 octane tune by Jon Lund.

406.91 RWHP
391.89 RWTQ

After: Installed JLT carbon fiber CAI kit and downloaded revised Lethal 93 octane tune for JLT CAI by Jon Lund.

422.73 RWHP
400.70 RWTQ

Made an additional pull right after the first pull with the JLT

421.29 RWHP
400.93 RWTQ

So the end results are an improvement of:

15.82 RWHP
8.81 RWTQ

Over the stock air box with a K&N filter!! :banana:

Driving home the power and drivability of the car are awesome!!

Yeah, those gains are fantastic! Only "complaint" is that these are STD not SAE,not a big issue, as the gains are the gains from the JLT

I'll have my results tomorrow evening...

I'm hoping for similar gains, maybe even more if the full exhaust helps the freer flowing intake make more of a difference

Yes, I know the whole STD/SAE numbers thing! I was just more interested in how much the gain from the JLT over the K&N was going to be!!

They are selling the CF versions now, but I think I saw that Jay posted somewhere that the painted plastic versions will be available in about 6 to 8 weeks.

I know, these new 5.0's with very minor mods are making great power!! :rockon:
