It's finally happened, my car is finally under the knife for the eaton swap. It will be finished and tuned before the end of july

This is how its sitting as of now, I dropped the car off in DE at my friends house and we got a lot of work done. He said when I come down next sat it will be much farther along. I have to bring him a couple parts I forgot, and order some shit as well.

So here we go

Miles when parked

Going to town on those knock sensor bosses

After some gentle massaging of the coolant tube, and some test fitting, we bolted the lower intake in

and just because I had to get an idea of what it will look like, I did a test fit of the blower. Can't wait for this

Your polished Eaton/Accufab setup is identical to my old one ('03 Cobra). Good luck with the rest of your project. It's going to look awesome, and run awesome, when you're finished. Keep us posted!

Thanks Bob!

I see you had a RR pulley on yours, I tried to get one in a 3.2 size, but lethal was out of stock. So I picked up a BF 3.4 last night.

I also see I tossed my IAC on backwards, whoops

Great build. Finally a mod other than headlights that is signature worthy haha. Good luck man

haha, thanks. I figured instead of doing the nickel and dime bolt on BS that'll gain 5hp here, 7hp there, I'll just jump right to the big stuff....

I'll have an update tomorrow as I'm going down to DE to drop some parts off that I forgot.

Awesome man, just put a lidio tune and intake on mine, the boat needs more power!

Looking toward to seeing it sometime!

I rocked a lidio tune since 2009, I love his trans tune. I asked him for a 93 tune to replace my 91, with a tweak for my headers, and he put me into the 13's so I couldn't be happier with his work

Come out to one of our meets sometime!

Head cooling mod done?

Not yet, but its on my mind. I have to read into it more, maybe a winter project.

My brother and I did the same conversion to a marauder a few years back. On the stock pulley, she made 390/450 to the ground. I hear a non-stock h-pipe would have yielded even more because of the portions that neck down in the stock one. My dad has about 35k on the conversion since we did it.

What alternator setup are you planning on using?

Be a good idea to put the head cooling mod in now while stuff is apart and before adding that much more heat into the motor with the SC.

It's mainly an issue with SC dohc motors.

I am using the Terry G eaton swap brackets, and I swapped out the clutched pulley for a regular one.

The stock H pipe is a 2" pipe with a 1 7/8" crossover, its the worst part of the exhaust. I bet even a full 2.25" H pipe would have put that car over 400.

Its a common safety fix on all 4 valves, but due to money and time restraints it'll have to wait.

For sure, I'm shooting for 11's on the stock long block and I'll be 100% happy. My friend (traktrbeam) already wants to run once my car is done, so we'll see if that gets to happen

I already sorted out all the shit I need to bring down and ordered everything else. I actually ran over to traktrbeam's house to look at his cobra and get the part number off the IAT2/MAP sensor so I could track that down (thanks tom ). I forgot to bring the lower pulley/hub and the tensioner relocation bracket so I have that in my pile, as well as an alternator nut since I put a fixed pulley on to replace the clutched one....

updates tonight! Fuel pump SHOULD be going in today.
