Whats up everyone, as you can see im new to this forum, so i thought id introduce myself and post up the build that im working on. My names chris and i live in denver, co. I work at a small stang shop and ive got a 2001 mineral grey mustang gt. The mod list is growing pretty much by the day but ive still got a long ways to go to get the car to where i want it to be. At the moment, the car has a long list of bolt ons, kooks long tubes/catless x, slp lm1 catback, 3.73s, torsen t2r, comp xe262ah cams, mgw short throw, sct tune, a/c delete, kirkey alum racing seats, Crow 5 point harnesses, mm 6 point roll bar, rear seat delete, airbag delete, MM k member, forward offset control arms, tokico d spec shocks w/ coilovers up front, xl full length subframes, panhard bar, torque arm, adjustable LCA's, torque arm rear springs, adjustable sway bar, cobra brakes all around, silver fr500s (17"x 9" front, 17"x 10.5" rear) and Nitto Nt01's all around (275's up front, 315's rear) (The car is very very stiff but rides like a dream in my opinion)

As for future mods, im in the process of saving for an engine/transmission. My plans are to buy a CMS cobra short block with TFS 2v heads/cams, and slap a kenne bell on it. I will be autocrossing and road racing the car so i plan on an output of 550-600 hp at the wheels. If all goes as planned i should be done with the car by summer of 2012 but we will see how it goes. im planning on getting the same roll cage from you.. is it from maximum motorsports? And is it hard to install?

Thanks everyone! I tried to post from my phone last night but i guess it didnt work. The rollbar is a Maximum Motorsports 6 point with standard door bars and optional diagnol brace. I had it powdercoated flat black. The install is pretty tricky to do with 2 people but im sure if you have 3 people it would go smoothly. If your getting seats that require a seat back bracket, you will have to make a custom bracket. Im making mine this weekend and ill post some pics once its done. Thanks for checking out my build!

So I've got some good news, I placed an order for a new shortblock. Here's the specs...

MMR Mod 900, 4.6L, 9.1:1 Compression Ratio
-Side bolt uprgrade
-Coated pistons
-ARP Main bold upgrade
-ARP 2000 rod bolts

Now I just need to save for heads, cams, kenne bell, trans and fuel system!

Hey guys, haven't updated for a while so decided to throw some new pics and news about the build. I had ordered an mmr mod 900 short block, 4.75 stroked that should be here any day now, I also have a set of stage 3 trick flow heads on layaway. My interior is almost done and I'm pretty much just waiting for my engine parts to get here. I will be ordering a tiger racing hood, cf deck lid and cobra r splitter here soon and I'm trying to find a cobra fuel system to buy. Here's some pics.
