Looks like its going to be an awesome build man! Just curious and something you may want to check into but are you sure the d1 is going to be good enough for 22lbs or will it be spinning the blower too hard?

Wait a sec....Is that your garage, with the two prancing Stallions, the big Bimmer, and the classic 'Stang? If so, very nice!! Also, if I may be so bold as to ask, what did the total color change run you? I see you/they (the shop) went all out, doing what looks to be the underside, engine bay (I'm assuming), trunk, etc. I'm thinking, rotissery (sp?) job? Also, as an edit, I noticed that this was your first post. Welcome to SVTP, and I hope you enjoy your stay at our crazy little corner of the 'net.......

Thanks for the Welcome! Im on SN95Forums, but uh, not much goin on there. LOL. Anyways, yes thats my Garage. Its a real 1965 Shelby GT350, #214. Its a 100% restored show car with about 800 miles on it. haha. Yes, they did the engine bay, I forgot to post a pic so I'll do it now. Im making the SN into a full show car as well, now i have my wife's permission. The Red Ferrari 360 has been sold and the Black 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB was getting some work done to it, and a kid who was transporting it totalled it about 3 weeks ago, and I am involved in a lawsuit over it as im typing this. Just my luck, I guess. The 745Li is a trip car (long drives and such). i drive a 2005 Honda Civic 4-door with 244,000 miles to work and back (40mpg FTW)

As far as the Procharger goes, They say its good to 25lbs. *shrugg*

Heres afew more pics / garage pics:

Edit: Approx Cost on the Body/Paint/Interior is $25,000. Not including paint, theres been about $55,000 in parts delivered so far....just kinda collecting dust until I get it back (probably a week or so?? HOPEFULLY???!)

Im very jealous.... my garage is empty at the moment. My car is at the shop and my girl just sold hers to get another. But you know what my girl told me...that why dont i just stay with my 94 and buy a 4 cylinder car cuz of the gas prices:shrug:. I responded thats what your car is for i believe that you only live once i can atleast try to enjoy what i can afford for aslong as i can.

Nice little collections of cars I have a 97 cobra. Love your color you picked it really POPs and will be a head turner at shows, good luck with the build its lookin awesome. All I have in my garage is a 97 cobra #1687 and a Hitong HI50sr4 that I'm building at the moment to ride around town on. Just ordered a 150cc motor for it so it should move maybe some little mods aswell!

may I make a suggestion? your lightning 90mm maf is completely inadequate for your setup- especially for your 80# injectors- don't even think they will work together. I suggest getting a blow through capable maf and running your setup that way- get one that is calibrated for your injectors and won't peg at 500 hp-

Wow, you don't mess around when building a car. I like everything you've done. Those seats are particularly cool and I love the brakes!

Just personal opinion, but if you're really looking to spin the D1 up to 25lbs, I'd opt to sell the D1 and instead use a F1 headunit at a lower psi. Same or better power with way less heat.

Very nice.
personally I would never dump tons of money into a vert. Unless you stiffen the hell out of the car (which adds even more weight) verts are well known as a flex fliers.

so is this going to be a show car only? partial track car? If its a show car only Im curious why ur going with a fuel cell. I have also heard u may not want to run cutouts on a blower motor i dunno why i was advised not to do it because of backpressure and such when I asked about doing it on my car.

Also this car is beautiful and you can deff tell that money was not spared so Im curious as to why you have MM suspension parts then switched to QA1 on the k-member?

Lots of interesting questions - in regards to the K member, I really didnt feel the need to spend $600+ on one? Thats why I didnt buy a MM one. I dunno, just me.

2) Fuel cell - Something I've always wanted to do....plus its bigger than OEM. I wanna show it for a year, then drive the hell out of it. Plus its looks cool and shows off more of that Suspension. Oh, and I will track it eventually. Not drag, but road race it.

3) F1R - I dont wanna have to buy another Procharger. HAHA. I called them asking about the upgrade - its not worth the money to me. Plus I've already powdercoated all of the D1 stuff, so i cant give it back for credit. (all crinkle black).

4) Cutouts - Hmm, my buddy has a set on his 97 and still makes 750whp. And he beats the tar outta it! :p

In regards to the MAF. Awesome info. Any suggestions on what kind? I have a FAST on Order, ordered it thru my friend whos a dealer, not sure what all it comes with, but since I dont have it in my hands but I know it come with some sensors.

Kinda off subject lol. But I have the exact same wedding ring as you do lol. Welcome to SVTP, and you have a awesome garage/collection there. Just one question though. You have ferrari's, a lambo, a BMW, a original shelby so naturally you must be pretty well off. My question is, why don't you go all out with the build, get a turbo and get billet I beams, all that stuff to compliment the motor. You have a lot of quality parts just wondering what you goals are or if you ever thought about a turbo on it.

You should very, very seriously consider changing the UPR k-member for a Maximum Motorsports or Griggs if you're going to run HPDE or SCCA events.

I'd do something different than a D1 with all the $ and parts you already have invested.

I have my SCCA License, but I never run anymore. I go to more club events and open track days. More fun with less drama!

I've always been an anit-turbo guy. Just me (im weird like that). I am REAL close to doing a cog setup too. But, I cant justify spending $3,000 on some pulleys! HAHA

Billet rods are $$$$$$$$$. I think my DSS forged rods will be ok...im mean shit they're rated for 1,000+whp.

Goals? Hm. To have a cool SN95? I love driving it more than anything in that garage. :p Its just something different. Everyone expects the new SVTs to be fast, but never really an old one. Im just hoping to hit 600hp

I love the fact that in your beautiful car collection, you made room in your heart for a cobra  Awesome build! I love the color and this car was definitely done right. The redone 03 seats are tits. Make sure you keep us updated throughout the rest of the build.
