Just a quick Video of my 1966 Coupe at Idle.... Its a 289 block with a 331 stroke and a .40 over bore. Custom ground cam. My old school push rod baby.

And yes, I am no good at the tech thing and the Video turns sideways.... I am a dumbass with the camera..... but it is just for the sound.

Most of the resto was done by a professional. I "restored" it twice before handing it over to a pro. I just wanted it done and done right. I would have never finished it. Its set up for road racing if I ever want. 6 pt cage, minitub, coil overs, discs, and ladder bar setup. 5 speed out of a '93 Cobra... Lots of other goodies.

Looking for 400-420 rwhp tomorrow. Pulls to 7 grand. We will see....

Thanks.... I even kept her name on the title, with mine, so it will always be a "one owner" 1966 Mustang.

The console, I actually just put in this week. It really tied the interior together and it appears to be complete now.

Thanks again.

Very nice coupe! My father and I are building a 65 fastback and it's in similar condition as your pic on the trailer.
Have any more pics from the front?
What other mods does it have?

That is one nasty sounding '66 Mustangs. You've done awesome with bringing it back to life. A lot of history in that car, and you'll likely hang onto it.

Thank you for the compliments. I will shoot the vid of the dyno run today and will take some more shots of the front.

The motor started as a 289, but the 331 and the bore its closer to a 340. My engine builder is Ronnie Crawford, a legendary sbf stroker man in South Florida. It has a custom ground crane cam and TFS high port heads. Fabricated headers from Ford Powertrain Specialists out of California. 3 inch exhaust, with magnaflow dumps.

9 inch rear with 4.11 gears and true trac posi. Fully adjustable coilover suspension, and a ladder bar set up out back with a 2 inch mini tub. Full length subframe connectors and manual rack and pinion steering.

5 speed trans from a 93 Cobra and a 6 point cage. There is so much more, but that's the basics of the car. It also has stripes believe it or not. The are ghost stripes, hardly visible in the dark but pop out in the sun. I will try and find a pic so you can see them
