I picked up this 1993 Fox a few months ago with the plans of doing a full build on it .The car was originally sold in Alabama and then went to FL and I bought it from someone in CT who had it a short while. My main goal was to get a rust free fox and the overall rust condition of this car was very good, meaning none. Any issues the car had was not a concern as I was planning on changing so much anyway.
Currently has a 306 with Trickflow 170 heads, GT40 tublar intake and Vortech V2 and a world class T5 and a Terminator X ECU system. While most would consider this "done" its definitely not what I had in mind. Coming from an 04 Cobra I couldn't settle for mid 400's for power to the wheels. So this winter the engine is coming out and I'll be selling off everything listed above and currently have a Dart SHP 363 stroker being built by woody at Ford Strokers, AFR 205's ( most likely a Holly Systemax Intake ) and all the forged stuff inside. I'll be running it NA for awhile until putting on an On3 Turbo kit later on. Also is getting a Tremec TKX

First thing I did with the car was remove the way too dark limo tint all the way around it and removed the seats to put in a set of Corbeau A4's. The seats in it were not fox seats, I have no idea what they even came out of. I want to swap over to all black interior over the winter and currently have about 98% of everything needed to do so and was able to get the harder stuff to find.
The paint looks good in photo's but its not. I'd bank on the fact that its a sub par Maaco paint job, there's no clear on it and its chipped in a few places and does not shine much at all. All of that is good with me because the plan for whatever fox I bought was to repaint it the color I wanted so I'm glad I'm not stripping off good OEM factory paint. When the engine comes out this winter I'll be painting the engine bay after cleaning it up more and before painting the whole car I plan on getting the Cervini's Cobra rear bumper, side skirts, Cobra R hood and Stalker front bumper. Oh and also over the winter its getting a 5 lug swap and a set of LMR Saleen style wheels and GM Cadillac Brembos. It does have bolt in subframe connectors but those will be taken off and a Stifflers fit system put in after the new 363 goes in and some other suspension and chassis stiffing things along the way.

Overall I just wanted to build a fox the way I had it envisioned. I used to be about owning stuff that was unique such as the 04 Cobra and the Shelby GT350 I had for a short time but I soon realized that nothing is more rare or unique as building a car with a specific mod plan and vision in mind. The mods and paint will set it apart from many other builds alone. I'll update this thread over time as more things happen. I have a ton of parts just waiting to go on for over the winter months, for now I'm just driving the car and enjoying it for the summer.

That might actually work lol

Because Coyotes rule all I guess these days.

Just my opinion but I've never heard a coyote that didn't sound like absolute garbage regardless of what exhaust system, X, H, cats no cats happened to be on it.

The only reason I would buy a fox is to put a yote in it.

Beautiful car, OP! Turbo SBF will be great! I’ll be keeping up with this thread.

I hate coyotes for the reason posted above lol. A SBF just looks better under the hood with a nice aluminum intake sitting on top of it VS hunks of plastic found on the modern engines

Few of the parts I've gathered so far. Cadillac 4 piston brembo's, Cobra brake booster and master cylinder, new rotors front and rear ( getting rid of the drums in the back) 31 spline differential and 31 spline moser axles ( not pictured ) SVE Saleen wheels and Toyo R888R's 295/35/18

Power > Sound but I get it.

I had a 2V swapped Fox with a procharger. Was a lot of fun. Still should have had a Coyote in it ;)

Some people like the Coyotes and that's great for them but I'll never do it. I considered swapping a 4v into it because I still have my stock eaton supercharger off the Cobra but in the end I really wanted a Dart SHP build. Started out with just wanting a 347 when I first contacted Ford strokers and the email back stated doing a 363 would not cost anymore other than going to slightly bigger heads ( AFR 185's to the AFR 205's ) Didn't take much arm twisting for me to decide on the 363.
