I havent been on here for a while. I bought my car two years ago in R.I. I flew down form northren maine to buy the car. When I got there the car needed a lot of tlc to make it right. I was lowered with h and r sports, the front ones were cracked. The maf was peg at 4500 rpms the cat back was mangled all of the rear bushings were shot and the radio was shit. Tires were bald aswell. It did have a 6 pound lower on it and 10.5 rear cobra rims on back with stock 9s on front. It looked good but was a mess. The first thing I did was new tires and and then the ftbr bushing kit with the ford cover and new magna flow cat back . I then got a new pro-m 80mm maf and a new tune 417 rwhp and 475 rwtq. The fuel pressure was tested and I getting 51 pounds at the injector at idle so I think it has aftermarket pumps in it. It does not have a bap like I thought it did. So I wanted a little more power so I sent the blower,tb and intake to Steggy for a stage 6 port and its going in this weekend and a new tune and dyno on the same dyno as before. Its a mustang dyno. I was making 14 to 15 pound of boost before the port. I will let you all know the outcome good or bad and Ill try to get some pics and video. I also ordered new fog lights and some gloss black 17 inch saleen wheels 10.5 and 9s again. I know some dont like them but on a redfire cobra it looks mean as hell. Ive only seen the 18s on them so I hope the 17s look as good.

I live in Patten. I would be very happy with 465 rwhp. Steggy says 55 rw gain with this but not sure if thats on all dynos. On this dyno a good stock 03/04 cobra makes 340 rwhp so 77 over stock was good to me. If I get 465 and 500 ftlb tq Ill be very happy. As is 2nd gear rolling bunrouts at 45 mph[ nitto 555s 315s] is the norm. The owners ls1 ram air firebird made 280 then after a bunch of mods made 308. Ya his dyno is a heartbreaker but the way the car runs makes me smile and forget the low #s. Its on the dyno as I type.

Personally not a fan of 17" Saleens what so ever, but post pics when the wheels are on. Good luck with the Dyno. The stage 6 port from what I've seen has been putting down some nice numbers.

I just got home from work and called the dyno shop. He said he is still tuning the car but it base lined over 450 so I am very happy, should be all done tonite. I wonder if it is gonna have that tq spike that it had before. Old tq curve was around 450ish with a spike of 475 I wonder if this with flatten it out. Ill see if I can get the oil print out vs new one for ya. I was gonna pick it up tomorrow but were gonna get 8 f@king inchs of snow. Hell will brake loose on monday.

I feel bad that you folks are still getting snow. That sucks!

Congratulations on the new mods/tune. Hopefully the final numbers will be even higher than you are hoping for. But their only numbers. Your seat of the butt dyno is going to LOVE the new setup. :)

What color is your Cobra? It's not DSG, is it? I ask because I knew a DSG owner in Rhode Island whose engine bay was one of the dirtiest I'd ever seen. And that was back in 2004. He didn't have a garage so the car took an environmental beating.

He just called me and told me to come get her. He tuned it per Bobs tuning sheet he sent. I talked to bob about what I wanted and told him I wanted a safe tune for 91 octane fuel. We have 93 but not everywere. It comes in at 19 degrees at orund 4000 rpm then he backed it off to 17 a 6000 rpm. It was tuned with the intune tuner. Looks like a small smartphone. So anyways 512 ftlbs 3800 to 4000 peak tq and a little over 490 rwhp from 6000 to 6200. He told me he did not expect to see that big of a number jump and could not belive when he tryed a 1/4 mile run that it blew the tires loose in 2nd and 3rd make a full pass on his dyno a no go. I just have to take it to the track. He said he may back the tune off 10 hp fot a safty margine. This was on 91 fuel shop temp about 70. Ill get pics asap.

Well its home and ill get some pics up in the morning. It is some sort of ride now. My tuner also did a 93 octane pull with 19 degrees instead of 17 were its at now, it made 513 rwhp and 540 ftlb. He also showed what coolant temp did to the power curve. With the stock thermostat and timing at 17 degrees and heat soaked, with a water temp of 185 it made 473 hp and 513 tq. With the cooler water temp of around 160 it made 491 and 512. Same 160ish temp and 19 degrees it did the 513 and 540 pull. I wish that our fuel was better I would like to rock that 513 tune. Oh ya ,I also like the black saleens rims. I had to retorque them every 50 miles but its all good now.
