Alright. I'm an idiot.

Okay now that we have that out of the way on to my predicament..

When my buddy and I put my longtubes on my mach 1, he happened to leave one of the bolts out of my motor mount on the drivers side. Its the back bolt, right in front of one of the primaries. The distance between the mount and primary is shorter than the length of the bolt...

Can I cut down a bolt to length and it still be strong enough to hold? I need to get something in there soon cause it is vibrating me to all hell and I really don't want to pull the header off to do it..but I will if i have to.

It is not the length of the bolt that matters. As long as you can get the nut on the threads enough to hold it.

I would assume that some bolt is better than none, considering the situation. What size are the primaries to be that much in the way?
