Our resident track instructor car is a tits stock golf R. No newbs come close, doesn't matter what car they bring for their schooling. Hell the chrysler minivan we pack 8 people in (intro to the course to see the line) ran close to what an average joe runs in his c6 vette lol (true story)
I've seen quite a few corvette/porsche guys show up in brand new spec miatas by the end of last year. Should be fun as we will have a spec miata club race series starting this season.
