More power for the 2019 Miata?

They need a lot more power, every HPDE I have done the Miatas are always in the way. It's so bad that even if you put Michael Schumacher in one (pre ski crash of course) I would still lap him in my 08 Bullitt.

In a stock one.

Even with a significant horse power deficit, the track prepped miatas are no joke in technical sections.

Yep, all the 10-12K ones have a lot miles and look beat.

There is a one-owner ~35k-ish miles blue one on the East coast with a freshly installed Kings turbo kit that I was going gaga over. He was asking $25k.

Thing is bad ass.

If they didn't have a glass trans and rear end, I'd love to build one to around 550 whp. Would be fun as hell.

I understand the appeal for the road course guys...the handling is great and I get that. But I’m not tracking a car without a roof.
