I was at the Russo & Steele Auction in Monterey last night. They sold a 1970 Boss 302 Trans Am racer for only 87K! That's a screaming deal for a real Boss with vintage race history. The car was originally blue, and raced by an independent driver. But, the car was painted in the PJ paint scheme at some point during it's life.

I shot this quick video of them pulling it into the auction building....

What a great weekend. I was sad to see the 77 Challenger wreck saturday--it was broadsided by a Mustang in the trans am race. The auction was awesome---if I had known I would have brough t my savings to score some very cool cars.

Yep, the one and only.

We spoke to Ken briefly last night, and asked what happened. He said "slippin and slidin, it happens sometimes".

Pretty cool he took it in stride. He's a great guy, and a REAL racer at heart.

Damn that sucks!!!! Poor guy. Yea he's about as humble as they come. He is a real racer that's for damn sure. That guy would show up a week early to events just to get the track time so he could destroy everyone when race day came lol.. he's got money to blow too lol.
