20k... For a 2v? What year was this... 2001?
Ok, I think the actual number was like 17,500, but it was said to be a fresh bottom end, ported heads, YSI, C4, built 8.8, cage, fuel system, etc and run into the 9's.

You are correct. In Oct 2003, I narrowed my car choice down to a new STI which would have been the first one sold, or a 97 Jade Green 15th anniversary Supra with 15k miles for 28k. I chose the ****ing STI like a retard and regretted it every day afterwards.Hopes and dreams. I would have loved to have gotten a 96-98 turbo Supra 15-17 years ago.
I think they were going for high 20s around ‘2003-‘04.
Will the Terminator ever go that high another 10-20 years from now? There won't be too many good ones left I would think. I spoke with Lidio and he is seeing less and less Terminators at his shop. I still see Terminators however it is a rare sighting and my pulse goes up every time. I love those cars!10k-Mile 1993 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo 6-Speed
10k mile stock car at $92k and climbing. Damn I should have bought one of these and an NSX while they were cheap.

My logic was I wanted a new car not driven by anyone. Seemed like a great idea at the time.
Your going to be kicking your self if you sold that STI. Blob eyes are still stupid money and it will be a $40k car in another 15 years. You are correct. I am not sure the appeal of these cars, they are nice, but at 100K, too many good cars on that list.
C7 ZR1 money.
That's like saying a van Gogh only covers 4sq feet of my wall, I can wallpaper 50 houses for thr price of one painting!!! Your paying $100k for the rarity and collectability, not the $ vs performance ratio. Not to mention that a stock ZR-1 can pretty much lay waste to a Mk IV Supra be it moderately modded or stock for that price.
Most 1000 WHP Supras are trailer queens only in a lot of cases or 1/4th mile queens pick your poison.
R34 GT-Rs are legal for import here and I thought of buying one before they jump in price. The problem is I can't bring myself to spend so much on a car that has such a lousy interior and boring styling. I do know that I can make a lot of money on it once it is legal for import in the US.
They are going between 4.5-5.5m yen in auctions recently for a grade 4b v-spec. Those all seem marked up quite a bit.
