Midpipe to header stud

Looked under the car for some leaks and saw that I was missing a stud. No wonder I was hearing a slight exhaust leak. Must have rattled off there.

Mac longtubes to generic o/r x pipe.

Where can I get a single stud and nut? Called autozone they have some but I'm not sure which size our studs are. Anyone know?

U guys think this will work?

I had to remove my stud as it snapped. Just drilled it out, and ran a nut and bolt to keep it sealed up. It worked out really good

I would go OEM, about $20 if I recall.

I broke one off in the manifold and after about 20 tries finally was able to weld a nut to what was left and back it out.

It's just a header to midpipe bolt. I think $20 is way too much.

Then do it somehow else then. The man was just giving you a recommendation.

Use a SS bolt. It will be much easier to remove later on. I believe it was an M8.

When I was installing my midpipe on my cobra I wanted to do away with the shouldered studs on the drivers side. I walked into a napa in a really dinky town and told the guy what I needed. He didn't even have to look them up, he just walked over to the Napa version of the "help" section and gave me a package of 2 studs.

If this tiny store had them any autoparts store will probably have what you need.
