LS2 GTO vs Terminator

the LS1 is actually a 346 not a 350. I'm surprised there are still Cobra owners that think they're 350's. I figured by now everyone would know. No big deal I guess

I can understand the 350 thing getting mixed up but the LS1 making 305~310hp as rated really gets me confused. It's been proven inaccurate for the last 11 years now... :shrug:

granted.. but it all depends on what you like.. i happen to love my "gutted drag car... wouldnt trade/sell it for a cobra any day..

he didnt buy a cobra. he decided to build his 85 olds 442. parts are rolling in for it as we speak. big block with a single 88mm turbo. my point to the story has nothing to do with cobras being better it has to do with keeping a street car a street car. i would gladly sacrifice 3 tenths of a second for keeping my factory seats, a/c, abs and all the other amenities. my numbers should be really close to his numbers from last year with the solid axle this year tho.
