I found an alphabet book in with my kid’s books a few months back. The letter “F” was for farmer, and I swear to God it had a white dude watching a black woman till the ground in a field.
It was an awkward laugh while I read the book to my three year old. Maybe I was looking too far into the imagry, but I couldn’t believe that slipped past the filter.
