@SID297 When I ordered 4.30s seemed overkill.

Honestly, if the torque converter would lock up later in 3rd or after I’d be 9.5/10 on the 10r140. It’s just super annoying how early it locks up after the 1-3 skip shift. Snow mode is a riot

Going from driving a 6.7L it'll feel gutless, and you'll get about 60% of the fuel mileage (given everything else is equal).

Going from driving a half-ton with either main engine, it'll feel stout.
I'm with Nick, I dearly miss my 6.7L. I'm weighing the option to ditch the 7.3 for an older 5.9 cummins.

im a huge godzilla fan you dont buy a 7.3l for fuel economy.

only reason is to avoid potential costly repairs on the diesel, CP3 pump, injectors, DEF, egr, turbo.. etc. There's a reason fleets were literally beating down the doors at ford demanding a less costly to run engine.

Didn't you get a Dodge dually? How's your mpg?

Yessir. Damn truck is almost 9k lbs unloaded. Mega cab DRW, 4.10 rear end with the Cummins HO motor.

It'll do 17-18mpg unloaded.

Towing my 14k lb 5er at 70 mph it gets low 9's mpg almost like clockwork.

CP4, not 3. Important difference worth noting.

Important, and sad difference.

You'll like it better than $200 oil changes and $5/gal diesel fuel.

Is that really an issue for someone trading an $80K plus truck, for another $70K+ truck, due to it being 3 years old (assuming, if talking full warantee ending)?
