What are you guys using to learn a new language?

I was looking at either Babel or Rosetta Stone. I can get Rosetta Stone Lifetime for $169 and Babel for $199.

I need something I can do while I am driving between hospitals.

I can barely speak English anymore. Between the mini-strokes, or long-covid, or too much beer, I find myself stuttering or struggling to find words more than I ever have.

I actually applaud people who learn new languages past high school.

I've been the most consistent with Duolingo. It's not something you can do while driving though, at least the way I have used the app on my phone. I think I did a trial of Rosetta Stone, Busuu, and Duolingo and stuck with Duolingo (it's free). I would just get the free trial of a few and see what platform you like best.

I was using Duolingo to learn Latin until it started throwing LGBTQ BS into the lessons. I refused to participate so the lessons stopped.

I've used Rosetta stone in the past for harder languages(sand people) but forgot most of it. But it was good
