Me and a female will be making the trip from ft lauderdale to vegas march 7th-11th and I'm looking for recommendations.Im 25 she's 23 and casinos aren't the make or break for the trip.We want to stay on the strip but someplace nice with a few decent Lounges or clubs. We will mainly be drinking and wandering around seeing the sites maybe betting a few bucks here and there.Price isn't a huge concern but I'd like to get something that is worth what I'm paying.A nice view of the strip at night from the bars wouldn't be a bad thing.I've booked a stay at Mandalay bay as they seem to have some decent nightlife in hotel and the rooms seem nice and it's looks like the pool Is rated really nice.I can change the reservations through Priceline fairly easy though so if there are better places to stay with more to do ill change it.I know it's towards the end of the strip but diddnt know if that was a huge deal.We don't mind walking alittle bit andhagen she's got heels on I dont mind grabbing a cab.

Id like a nice room with plenty of places for us to drink, obviously I'll be walking/taxiing to other hotels aswell because I'd like to check out Tao and XS while there

I've been hearing I should check out Cosmo or aria instead of Mandalay as they are more central and more our age group.

What's everyone opinion on where to stay and what to do?

Wynn/Encore for pool and clubs (XS, Surrender). Bellagio if you prefer great restaurants (Sensi) and luxurious decor. Both will set you back a couple hundred a night, though.

Cosmopolitan also has a good club (Marquee).

Mandalay Bay is nice, it's at the very end of the strip though, so going anywhere is a walk that is deciptively long, keep in mind the pools won't be open that early in March if I'm not mistaken.

I go about 2-3 times a year, usually stay some place midway on the strip, Flamingo, Paris, Imperial Dump, Harrahs, Ballys, Treasure Island and Mirage are all central and reasonably priced, Imperial is in the middle of a construction zone so I'd avoid that for now.

Drinks are expensive if your not gambling, but if you tip the waitress you can sit there and bet a penny every 5 minutes and keep the drinks coming. Casino Royale has $1 Mich, Mich light and lime/strawberry margaritas 24/7

I'm not real big on the clubs, but the Palms has a pretty good deal on entry to 3 clubs on off nights sun-thurs, the clubs are retardedly expensive, as in if you go into one with a grand and think you're baller, forget it lol

I'm aware of the prices in the clubs I spend Alot of time on southbeach and in the hardrock by me.I don't plan on bottle service I hear that's pretty much soley for guys to pick up girls looking to sit down.Im bringing a female so I'll pass on the 500$ bottles lol.

I don't gamble much and I'm planning on bringing around 5k for drinks and food between 2 of us.I don't see spending more than that

$5k is way more than I ever bring so you'll be fine as long as you don't gamble like me lol

I eat and drink on the cheap, and prolly gamble 8-12 hours a day there

Stay at Circus Circus....:lol1:

They actually have a really good steak house there at circus circus. I was very impressed with the food there. It's hidden and you wouldn't really expect a restaurant like that there. It's one of the top rated steak houses in Vegas. (I'm not saying to stay there.)

Like someone else mentioned, Mandalay Bay is WAYYY at the end of the strip. Not as bad as the stratosphere, but you've got a hike for anything.

Last time there I stayed in a suite at the Mirage. It was amazing. Huge sound system, flat screens all over, jacuzzi tub, etc. I ate at awesome places the whole time I was there; I love food.
Mirage - Japonais, BLT Burger for lunch
Venetian - Otto Enoteca
Ceasars - Spago

Those were some of the more memorable ones.

IMO I'd seriously re-think staying so far down the strip. Stay in the middle and you'll be surrounded by things to do; Mirage, TI, Venetian, Paris, Ballys. Wynn/Encore is a little up the road but has a nice nightlife scene.

Yeah, I remember eating there a many years ago when we were there. I was in Junior High I think...the theme park they have is pretty cool for the kids, but that place has definitely seen better days...

Anthony it's Jared.

Go to Aria...Trust me. Their whole lobby turns into a dancefloor. And the women at Aria = Yes please..and yeah they are around our age. Cosmo is good, but if your girl likes dancing choose Aria.

Oh and, I'll bring a bottle......or six

And I'll probably bring a couple whores around. I mean...nice....respectful....caring.....christian...women..

I got a hook up on getting free tickets to any shows in a Caesars owned casino as well as Cosmo...Find out if there are any shows out there you wanna see while you're here, and I'll pull a couple strings around February to free up tickets.

Well that's really good to know and actually makes me happy lol.I plan on stopping at a liquor store for some alcohol at the hotel,I figure that'll save a decent amount by instelf

Stay at Circus Circus....:lol1:
I've never seen one good thing about that place :rolling:

Maybe if I was really drunk buying tickets I would have fun there lol

I do happen to love a good 30 day dry aged Kobe beef filet,I'll be sure to check it out if the steaks are good

I love respectful caring Christian stripperrrr I mean school teachers

About damn time... this place is slipping...:nonono: Why do you keep calling her a female thats weird? Bringing sand to the beach... A beach with the best fake tits around at that..

Well she is a female? Do i need to refer to her by name to a forum? Lol maybe I Should call her my personal washing machine? Maybe personal dishwasher?

And Let's be honest I live in the ft lauderdale area on the beach across from one of south Floridas best strip clubs.there is no shortage of sleazy wanna be models that will suck the paint off a car if they think you have money lol.Im not really going to Vegas to hunt for women,I'm just going to have a good time in a different state besides florida for once. The girl I'm bringing is down to drink, likes
Strip clubs, will keep me out of jail,is cute and will keep me from waiting in line at a club all night as a single dude.oh and she's into cars, albeit Chevys but atleast it's common ground. If some sluts wanna party she isn't going to get angry she's gonna party too

I am surprised nobody asked for pictures sooner

I booked the 765sq ft great room suite

Honestly I'm probably a bigger shopper than she is.Ive got a pretty serious shoe problem and a thing for dress shirts lol. What was the age of the crowd like at mandalay? I'm mid 20's so I'd prefer not to be with the 50+ crowd because I'm sure with how loud I can be when drinking it might ruin their vacation lol
