Mandalay Bay is nice, it's at the very end of the strip though, so going anywhere is a walk that is deciptively long, keep in mind the pools won't be open that early in March if I'm not mistaken.

I go about 2-3 times a year, usually stay some place midway on the strip, Flamingo, Paris, Imperial Dump, Harrahs, Ballys, Treasure Island and Mirage are all central and reasonably priced, Imperial is in the middle of a construction zone so I'd avoid that for now.

Drinks are expensive if your not gambling, but if you tip the waitress you can sit there and bet a penny every 5 minutes and keep the drinks coming. Casino Royale has $1 Mich, Mich light and lime/strawberry margaritas 24/7

I'm not real big on the clubs, but the Palms has a pretty good deal on entry to 3 clubs on off nights sun-thurs, the clubs are retardedly expensive, as in if you go into one with a grand and think you're baller, forget it lol

This. We go a couple times a year and have stayed more times at the MGM than anywhere else. Drink prices are VERY expensive anywhere in the casinos. Our last few trips we have gotten a cheap cooler to keep in the room and hit a liquor store when we get there and get a 12 pack, a fifth of rum and sodas and water to keep in the room. It saves tons of money. Also look for the big coke bottle on the strip near New York New York, you get half priced show tickets there.

+1 for mandalay being at the far end. And when you've got a few drinks in you and say "We can walk to blah blah blah" you will regret it rather quickly as your destination will look to be 1/4 mile away but is really 2-3 miles.

I have stayed at Planet Hollywood the last 6-7 trips out and I absolutely love it. The casino has a good party vibe, they have one pretty good club, great food, and has a 100+ (170 if my memory is correct) store mall running through it. You can get a awesome view of the strip and some rooms give you a stunning shot of the Bellagio fountains.

I am not a huge club person, I spend most of my time at the tables but I do get out and see quite a bit each trip. I will be out there next month staying at Cosmo only because my wife will be out there for work and it's on their dime. If you can't decide on where to go for food/drinks/dancing one night, ask a dealer. They usually know their shit pretty well.

You wont find bottle service in vegas for $500. For a bottle you'll spend close to $5000. Don't stay at ARIA if you're there for haze because it's one of the smaller clubs on the strip. But the casino floor at ARIA is where it's at. Lots of young people in your age group stay there. Hands down, best clubs in vegas are XS/Surrender and Marquee.

Do you know any club promoters? If it's just you and your girl, you'll want to go early and get a hand stamp for re entry or get your name on the guestlist through a promoter. If you don't, be prepared to wait a long time in line and quite possible not make it in the club at all...In vegas, the ideal girl/guy ratio is 2:1.

And check out the pool parties. Encore Beach Club, Marquee Day club, and Rehab are the best.

But for a hotel recommendation i'd recommend staying at the Wynn or Encore. If you wan't a hotel close to the middle of the strip then the venetian would be my recommendation. It's also same hotel as Tao Nightclub. Cosmo is still overpriced because it's one of the newer hotels on the strip.

And if you're gambling, sit at a table close to a bar because drinks are all free if you look like you're gambling lol.

Yep

In fact we have the cab drop us off at Stage Door, that crappy divebar/liquor store behind Flamingo, they have cheap food, a Shot of Bourbon and a Busch beer for $2 lol The package liquor is fairly reasonable too

Ellis Island about 1/2 mile off the strip has $2/24oz microbrews 24/7

Nothing better than soda and water ready in the room for the next morning

I find all the cheap shit so I can piss more away gambling and sometimes those waitresses take FOREVER lolol

I had a few friends say PH because it's the younger crowd but it diddnt seem like a real nice hotel room and it was actually more than Mandalay.I guess I'll have to check them out

5g's for a bottle? LOL I would never pay that,I've paid mid 400's a few times but 5k is just ignorant.Im on a Vegas forum and Alot of people said 4-600$ was average for bottle service and some places did a 2for1 deal for alittle more.I wasn't planning on doing it anyway but that just reassures me I won't.I like cosmo but the prices for a Friday and Saturday alone are over 1k bucks for what looks like a 200$ room.I don't know any promoters but I planned on calling around to get on some of the lists.will the pools even be open early march? I'm not even sure if I should expect cold or hot weather lol.

We stayed in one of the newly renovated King rooms, I would try and get one of those. There is a liquor/beer store right across the street at the Grand Canyon store, you can't miss it.

5 days in Las Vegas is no where near enough to do and experience everything that's there.

However, 5 days in Las Vegas is MORE than enough to defeat you in every way possible.

I was out there for a bachelor party this August. It was a BLAST. You will love it there. Just be careful not to go overboard.

I live here but I'm not a club kind of guy. +1 on the half off tickets at the Coke bottle.

Also Lee's Liquor is the best prices in town. There is one south on the strip down by Southpoint Casino.

There is also a nice outdoor shopping plaza called Town Square just south of Luxor if your girl gets tired of shopping on the strip. Good restaurants there too. Yardhouse has more than 100 beers....all on tap.
