Key Modification

I saw a thread about a month ago with a switchblade style key fabrication for the new edge and cant find it to save my life. Can someone post a link please?

I think he is talking about taking a VW "switchblade" key from a bug/jetta etc and making it work on his car.

they sell them on ebay but they only fit 05 and up cuz the 99-04's have that collar around the ignition.

I think the 2010 GT500 key would be a cool option if it can work...

I think it's a cool idea, but I would like to use the key above if possible :beer: How do I find out if the electronics will work? I've got a 95 Cobra...

you can replace that part of the ignition and go back to stock key for resale
