Kenne Bell Cobra VS C5Z06

I had a quick, short run with a C5Z06 and it was very close. We ran from about 30-80, just a second gear pull and I would say it was about even :shrug:

I may have gained a half car on him. He started about a half car ahead.

I'm at 600 with a kb2.2

Does this sound right??? The guy said it only had an intake. It didn't sound loud either, and he had a passenger and I didn't.

No it was a C5 Z06, not a C6

Sounds to me like you need to get your car on a dyno and get everything looked over. Something's not right.

Yeah, that "intake" had a nitrous jet in it.


A intake + wet shot C5Z can keep up with a KB/Whipple 03, especially in a short run (nitrous has serious on the hit punch).

yea man. back when i had my redfire termi, buddy of mine ran a c5z with his termi, just pullied exhaust intake and canned tune and spanked the z hard hard...... something not adding up?

yea what these guys are saying, no way a KB cobra is door to door with a stockish c5 z06. hes hitting that with a 150 shot.

dam man, Im glad I ran into a bad driver when i raced one, the bone stock c5 z06 I raced from a roll of about 65-140 mph he didnt start passing me up top @ 120-140 but 65 120 with me getting the jump i was ahead, and when we both hit the brakes @ 140+mph he was a few cars ahead. and im 360whp,u should deff smoked a stockish intake 1 with 600whp, a stock c5z06 makes 350whp or so lol

You are correct, but dont forget a stockish C5Z with radials can do mid 11's with the right driver
