Thanks for the advice on the Venom 400. Actually I decided against it, its not making any HP so much as tricking the car into thinking its doing one thing and not the other. As for the 302... my new motor mechanic and I talked, he hasn't torn it down yet, when he does he is going to let me know if he thinks I need a new motor. If not great, head gasket replacement. If I do he is going to look for the 3.8L V6 w/Supercharger which made 200 HP out of the box or the 5.0L 302 which made 210 HP. Also he is going to check if the transmission I currently have bolts directly to both motors. The other option is to find a Davey Allsion edition 240 HP H.O. 302 for the Bird. Thanks again...
