I thought those came on the 1.7s. Honestly, every 1.7 ive seen before willys had that snout

i think just the newers style blowers came like willy's................cause im in the same boat with you, every 1.7 i have seen has been just like the 1.7 i have...............oh well

Even though they are listed on Mr Norms site I don't believe you can buy those cams from them anymore. I believe you have to go through MPH again. From what I understand Tim left Mr. Norms and is now trying to bring back MPH.

MPH coming back?...............:banana:

I guess I'll post up my numbers currently making 361 rwhp and 365lbs of tq from a 2.1. Running only 14 degrees of timing and an 8psi pulley. I was really hoping for more.

I am currently building a forged engine to hopefully be dropped in this coming winter and shooting for around 500 rwhp. I have a 2.6 inlet that I will be adding to help the little 2.1 breath better. I have actually seen 2 people make around 600 rwhp with the 2.1 so I think I can get to my goal.

Dude there's really nothing wrong with that, it's over 400hp at the crank from a little 281 cu/inch power plant. My car makes 346,The car is very driveable, a/c works and it gets over 20mpg on the highway, it also runs on 90 octane, I love it, you can get "too trick" on this kind of stuff.

Just an fyi you can by the mhs cams from mr morma garage. I almost did until i went with tfs heads. Then opted for stage 3 blower cams speced for the tfs heads. Again i never seen that snout but i like the looks better then mine lol

I know but I still expected around 380 or so based on numbers I have seen on the boards. I was actually dissapointed until I drove it, felt the low end tq and started putting the hurt on a few cars. :burnout:

similar setup to mine, except im only @ 10.9lbs of boost! Sweet ride man, good luck with your 2.6 hunt. Can send you the link to that 2.2 we talked about if you need

IDK why i feel like my car wont make simular power to some of you guys, like you made just shy of 500 with stock heads and cams. granted its a stroker and a 2.1 but damn.

:shrug:Maybe its in the tuning.

My stroker with stock heads and cams made just under 450hp to the wheels at "10lbs" which was actually 10.9lbs on the dyno. I was planning on 500hp+ with the 12lb pulley and the 10% overdrive crank pulley from Innovators West which would put it right at 14psi through this tiny blower.........seen it done so i know for a fact its possible

I'm jealous of your custom inlet. I've been thinking about doin that too, to see if I can get 16psi out of her. I had no intentions of getting a 2.1 kb. I actually had ported 44cc TRickflows and stage 2 cams ready to go in. Right when my motor went in, I actually sold them to pick up this kb kit, and have no regrets. We dyno tuned my car seconds after the first start up, thank god everything went fine. We didn't abuse her or put to much timing in. I just broke her in at 1000 miles last week. I'm sure she'll hit a lil bit higher number now if I take her back. I'm also running on a 8 rib setup. I'm sure you can make similar #'s, especially sine u got TF heads and cams.
