The heat decided to stop working on the coldest day of they year! Luckily my dad has a wood stove so it is keeping the kitchen warm. The best part is that we have five family members visiting, and it is my dad's birthday.

My classroom is a portable next the main building and during the winter time I have to leave the heater on at about 60* otherwise it gets down to about 39* inside....then I get all my students complaining about how cold it is in there....

38? Thats not that bad, it was like -45 when factoring in the windchill last week, now thats cold!
I came home last winter and I'd ran out of propane.. it was a balmy -1 inside my place (-22 outside).. my cat came up to me, purred and wanted to be held.. (he didn't care how cold it was)
