I know this isn't very scientific but I raced my buddies auto ls1 TA from a roll when my car was bone stock and we would be dead even. The very next day we raced again after I installed my cold air and I pulled on him this time. Each day was at least 3 races with the same outcome.

Installing a CAI or RAI without a tune may cause it to go lean which will increase power, as was the case with my car. Once we put the a/f back to 12.9 the power was the same as it was with the stock inlet tube.

I have a K&N FIPKII drop in filter and my car made great power with it. But I plan to switch to a JLT Next Gen Carbon Fiber intake mostly for looks. I hate the way the stock tube looks, and it makes my engine look to "stock".

What are your mods?

When the dyno was done, just the JLT intake, SLP catted-X, and Magnaflow exhaust.

Since then, just a 1/2" intake spacer from MMR when they were on special last year.
