I'm new here.
I've been a long time car enthusiast and I've owned 5 different 3er BMWs, currently still have the 335i. I'm not new to cars or forum etiquette. Someday when I'm all grow'd up, I'd like to get a Ford GT but for now, the '11 Shelby I've got will have to do.
I've been here for a couple days, poking around and lurking. Lots of material here, and it seems like you've got a great community going.
BTW, I know it says Chicago for location, but I'm from SE Michigan and I'm a die hard Lions, Wings, UofM, and Tigers fan. And yes, I was even a Lions fan back in 2008.
Interesting note: Back in the late '90s and early '00s, I was a big fan of the LS1 cars because it was my impression that they were better cars than the Mustangs available at the time. Ford obviously stepped up their game and, IMHO, offers the better product now. I'm not a badge whore and I give credit to cars where credit is due. Hopefully this is not a problem here. Seems to rub a lot of people the wrong way on the BMW forums....
Also, I was originally going to put an order in for the '13 Boss in SBY but decided the Shelby fit me better and, honestly, the Getrag worries me a bit. I think I made the right decision for me, but I will admit that when I see a Boss on the road, I do wonder....
