brady has been and always will be only as good of a QB as the receivers on his team and offensive line

he is far from brees, favre, romo and manning.

all those QB's take undrafted receivers and rookies and make them great

wes welker makes brady look great....brady is nothing

We've had this discusion before and even though Brady had a bunch of no name recievers before 2007, I was just wondering what qb Welker made look great in Miami? In fact did anyone even know who Wes Welker was before he came to the Patriots? Randy Moss is the only big name reciever he's ever had.

only a gay retard with a small brain would use a TEAM statistic (superbowls) to argue personal statistics

wheres brady? Oh ya, sitting at 6th place on the career qb rating

not only is he behind romo for career rating, he's behind romo for the 2009 season rating lolz

brady showed last week and this week he is nothing without welker

Ok, you goofy looking inbreeding ******!

Name ONE, just ONE wr that was "superb" in the time when they won 3 sb!

Last time I checked, it matters how many times you won a CHAMPIONSHIP, you sack of shit. Romo hasn't made it past the first ROUND of playoffs once in his career. Only a moron with an IQ smaller than his shoe size would compare Romo to Brady!

They are both average QBs. Tony Batch is God.

Your teams a joke :lol1::lol1::lol1::lol1::lol1::lol1::lol1:

Well, seeing as you are in the Carolina's I hope you aren't a Panthers fan:shrug:

So, which team are you rooting for (historically, not convienently) that is doing so well...and has a dynasty type legacy like the Pat's have? Or, are you just hating?

we both know different people play differently in different offensive schemes.

2002 Superbowl - Tom Brady, 145 yards 1 TD

yup, that 1 score and measly 145 yards won the WHOLE FRIGGIN SUPERBOWL ALL ON ITS OWN, not. 145 and 1 TD....didnt Vick do that last night against the cowboys as a backup? lolz

or maybe it was his 236 yards and 2 TD's in 2005.....236 yards and 2 TD's....you know, the same numbers romo put up last night in a SINGLE HALF, not an entire game. I know, the patriots D getting 3 INT in the superbowl had nothing to do with the win, at all. it was brady's measly 2 TD's that brought the whole house down

you wanna talk superbowls then talk teams

you wanna talk individuals then whip out some individual statistics....oh wait, those statistics wont back the argument youre making

Aikman had 3 superbowls in 4 years, so I guess he's actually the greatest *sarcasm*

you prove over and over to be a demeaning idiot

Anyone arguing that Brady has always had great recievers clearly doesn't watch football. The three sb's were with guys like branch, patten and givens. If u don't like the pats that's fine, but don't talk stupid. The ravens came into this game with more intensity and it showed. The pats offense was clearly not insync with the loss of welker. And Ray Rice and Lewis are just beasts. If they play like this next week I could easily see them taking out the colts

What about how he played UNTIL he got them there, because you know inbred, it takes a good QB to make it to the big dance, not just dance on the big stage?

Who is the only QB to have led his team to UNDEFEATED regular season and have 50, 50 TOUDHCDOWNS, little under 5000yds and a QB rating of 115+?

I sometimes have to refresh my memory as to with whom I am discussing this sport. You look like someone that sucks dick for a living in bad porno movies from the 80's, GTFO out of threads where men talk sports!

No, not huge numbers in those games but enough to win and taking care of the ball must count for something. And don't forget all the wins it took to get to all those Superbowls. If you want to check the record books you'll find some big time offensive and passing records Brady holds.
I'll be the first to admit this year he had MANY terrible games, not all of it is on him because an offensive line should be able to protect from a 3 man rush but he wasn't right most of the year.

The guy had an ENTIRE year OFF, I am still amazed he came back and was still top 5 qb's in the NFL!

No they don't. Jets are number one pass defense in the NFL and number one run team. Probably the most underestimated team in recent history.

Haha agreed there! I talked to Mark about 3 hours ago...he's stokeddd. I still can't believe he's making millions!

I am not arguing brady has always had great receivers...im arguing that brady looks as good as his receivers ARE....they won superbowls because of their great defense. Not because brady had 145 yards and 1 TD for a whole game.

What about how he played UNTIL he got them there, because you know inbred, it takes a good QB to make it to the big dance, not just dance on the big stage?

bahahaha....ya, lets talk about how he played until he got there

QB Rating:
2002 - 85.7, 3764 yards
2004 - 92.6, 3692 yards
2005 - 92.3, 4110 yards

and then welker and moss show up

2007 - 117.2, 4806

Again, arguing that Brady won those superbowls and got them there with his average play especially when you can look at their defensive numbers and see awesome stats.....well, you need to take some mind rehab classes

Jets are going to take the AFC!

still being a retard i see

+1

I'm a Pats fan, I knew at the beginning of the season they wouldn't go far but I have to say they have more players with heart and toughness than any other team in the NFL.

Next weeks Cowboy/Viking game could be the game of the playoffs.

Flacco sucks and isn't good enough to carry his team to the SB.

I'd like to see the Jets/Vikings in the SB.
