hey postban, so what did you ever end up doing with the sullivan intake you powder coated? did you send it back with the kit or sell it?

sent it back to THP, powdercoat and all. not much else I could do. Was not looking forward to cutting the underside of the hood anyway.

Returning the oil/water systems to stock save for oil filter relocate which will be in tomorrow.

Manifolds went out for some special treatment, will be on today.

The sullivan sticks up so high (due to the THP provided spacer needed to clear the alt) it prevents the hood from closing unless you cut out the center wide rib on the hood. i never got that far, phew.

But I do have two huge holes in my inner fenders though, Stenod is gonna try to remedy that, weld in a steel patch and form it to fit. They were cut to allow the CAI's to pass through. Due to bad pipes I had to ENLARGE the drivers side one even bigger.

if anyone is wondering i still have my thp kit and plan on installing it. lessons learned from p-biddy will help a ton. i'm also optimistic that badcobra's car will be done this week, got plenty of time being in CA to identify the trouble spots and evaluate.
