It was truly a blast! The cruise ship was over the top, as was our Suite. No motion sickness, fortunately, but that might have been because I used a prescribed patch. We spent time at the ship's outside pool while at sea, but got to enjoy some ship activities, too.
Bermuda was beautiful. We spent the first day at Horseshoe Beach, in a secluded cove area. I literally was in the water for 2 1/2 hours. I was crystal clear and a perfect temperature. The pink sand was interesting. We also browsed the port town of Kings Wharf was quaint and small. Wanted to go to Hamilton but we had off and on showers the second day so we stayed in Kings Wharf. The cruise home was fun. The sea was choppy with large waves, but my wife and I weren't affect.
We signed up to see the ship's Marriage Game, where 3 married couples are chosen to answer questions to see which couple gets the most right. Well, the game host asked who was married the longest. I raised my hand and said "50 years on June 22". He then asked if we wanted to be one of the couples. We said, "sure", and had a freaking blast. The wives went into seclusion back-stage and the husbands were asked questions. The wives came back and had to try to match the husband's answers. Then the husbands went backstage and the wives were asked questions. One of the questions was "where was the strangest place you made whoopie"? My answer was different from my wife's, but it had my daughter and granddaughter laughing hysterically. Over the next two days we must have had a couple of dozen passengers stop us all over the ship, saying "hey, you're Bob & Bobbie from the Marriage Game".
We arrived back in Cape Liberty, NJ yesterday morning and got personally escorted off the ship by the Guest Relations staff thanks to us having Suite privileges.
We're already thinking about next year, and maybe flying to Bermuda and spending 7 days there rather than cruising. Cruises are fun, and about the same price as a land vacation, but you don't get to spend as much time on the island, which is what we'd like next time.
We'll always cherish the memories of this cruise with our daughter and granddaughters. We all had such a great time. Oh, and the drinks were stellar!

You're going to have a really good time there. Where is the ship docking? I recommend you visit Horseshoe Beach if you can. You can take a mini-bus (cheapest mode of transportation) that usually charges $7.00 a person. It was a 25-30 minute ride from Kings Wharf. Here's a photo of Horseshoe Beach. Just to the right of the rocks on the right side is a smaller piece of beach that is quieter, less crowded, and the water is clear and warm. There are other great beaches, of course. Horseshoe Beach was the only one we visited.Your pics make me can’t wait to get there. Three weeks and counting bro.

You can also rent a motor scooter. The one shop we checked out in Kings Wharf rented scooters for $50.00 a person for the day.
And I just mentioned renting a scooter to Bruno. LOL. I do remember our mini-bus (about 12 people) mere feet from the rear of a scooter. So, yeah, I can understand the potential danger.I recommend the Princess if you are going to stay there on next trip. Beware of mopeds, they are death traps. Been there many times and there is always someone at the airport on crutches that thought it was a good idea to rent a moped.

If we do go back to Bermuda, the Princess is already at the top of our list.
