I have an old Coupe and I dig it. But a nice, clean LX Hatch is what I love. That black one a few posts up is nice. Sanitary even. Oh...heres my beater. We are pulling the motor next weekend (track this weekend), gonna finish the paint work. Smooth out the inner fenders, mini tub, new wheels and tires. Lots of nice cars here at SVT.

My first car when I was 16 way back in 1992 was a 85 GT, so I have always been partial to the look of the hatch. Back then I thought the notches were ugly as sin but have since come to like them more. If I was building a track car I would find me a nice notch, but for a driver it would be hatch all the way.

The only hatch I really like is the '93 Cobra (and preferably in Teal). Other than that it's Notch's all the way baby! :)

A couple shots of my last Notch after I painted it:

This post is like asking if the sky is blue. Of course it is.

1st off quantifiable factors: The coupe is lighter and stiffer than a hatch

2nd, most enthusiasts would agree that the coupe is better looking.

3rd, all things being equal, the coupe will command more money unless comparing to a 93 cobra.

i like them both but i prefer hatch which is the better one, that's why SVO and SVT only made hatch models.;-)
