Friend just stopped by my desk to ask about the .45 M&P. Told I sold almost all my M&P's as soon as I got into H&Ks but they are good guns. Apparently a State of Massachusetts Police Force of some sort ordered a ton of them and they are not what they wanted. So they are selling them for like $450 with two mags and a nice case he said. They are already engraved as well. I might pick one up for shits and giggles if they have another available. Apparently they can not advertise and it's word of mouth and a local guy has sold 100's of them. Wish it was the state of SC, FL or TN for me but owell.

If it is the 4.25 inch barrel grab it.

Curious why you don't reload 5.56

Because the 556 brass is unruly and hard as hell...makes sizing a bitch, then the primer pockets need lots of attention...total pain in the ass

I gladly pay a few bucks more for 223 brass to save hrs of prep work.

I see. I've got reloading gear that I acquired from an acquaintance that passed away, but haven't started reloading yet. Good to know about the 5.56 brass.

Lots of info out there loading 556...only advantage is you can loaf it hot as hell compared to 223...but why? Is doest shoot any better...most the guns i load for perform much better well below max loads

Very nice. I actually dont own one yet. I just make friends everywhere i go. Traded off my newer stuff for his older stuff and had some fun. Was proud of myself. Fist time ever with a garand and didnt get gaand thumb and hit steel at 200 yards first shot. Its definitely on my shopping list now

Yeah this one was in Boyds stock and a few other aftermarket items. Hated that stock and found an H&R on the Garand Forums. Was a friend's who sold all his guns to travel around the country with his wife who came down with cancer. He asked if I wanted it and I said YES. Did look like this, built to be a shooter.

That is great to hear. I tried out a neighbor's grip this past weekend and found out it was not for me. Saved myself $30+!

Got an email about this today. My first competition gun was a Springfield XDM-Competition. Needed to change the trigger on it but it was a good gun for the money. This new one is a nice looking gun.
