yeh, my local go to gun store has an AR on consignment with one. I mean it could be beat all to hell. That one felt loose, like you couldnt crank it down and get it tight enough where it wouldnt jiggle.

weird… they even out those ****ers on SAWs….

Anyway, if you would like, I can send you (free) a BCM vert grip to compliment that nice BCM furniture you got on the rifle (or a magpul vert grip that I shortened a bit)… to try it out and see if you like it… just pm me the shipping address, if you are interested…

either way, no biggie.

I will keep that in mind! Thanks! I will admit, I do not know a lot about todays firearms. Last time I had, or fired an AR was 2004, right before I got out of law enforcement. I sold all of my arms and only in the last few months have started to get back into it.

Recently got the wife a Glock 43x, a S&W M&P9 for mysef and got our CCW's.

Any advice and help is 100% appreciated!

all good man. Nothing wrong with that. I’ve been in a similar boat.

The offer is there if you want it, you wont have to spend a dime… JLMK.

The only reason I made the comment about the bbc hanging from the business end of your rifle is because I believe that you are looking to have the most efficient and best tool for preserving life and your freedoms… and that monstrosity aint it. Dont take my word for it, ask any serious war fighting profesional. They will tell you the same.

Thats like putting 20” chromies on an 03 Cobra… Sure you can do it and you might like it, but it certainly isn’t really helping the car to perform its best.

Glock 43x and M&P9 are great performers.

Friend just stopped by my desk to ask about the .45 M&P. Told I sold almost all my M&P's as soon as I got into H&Ks but they are good guns. Apparently a State of Massachusetts Police Force of some sort ordered a ton of them and they are not what they wanted. So they are selling them for like $450 with two mags and a nice case he said. They are already engraved as well. I might pick one up for shits and giggles if they have another available. Apparently they can not advertise and it's word of mouth and a local guy has sold 100's of them. Wish it was the state of SC, FL or TN for me but owell.

I may have mixed a handful of of .223 into a ammo box of 5.56. If they are stacked together in a mag, will that be ok?
As long as your rifle is rated for 5.56 you will be fine, you will just have a different POI between the two. Which cartridge are you zeroed with??? I make it a habit to only buy XM193 anymore, I got tired of my zero moving with different rounds.

They are great guns. They are the working man’s HK. Ergos are great. Trigger is good.
They are probably gonna go to 9mm. Either that or back to Glock. Lol

Its the same caliber round. Same size. Only difference is 5.56 is a more powerful round so chamber pressures are higher. In order to be able to shoot both, you need either a 5.56 rated rifle or .223 Wylde rated rifle… a .223 rated rifle should stick to only .223.

Yeh its multi cal. Zero'd with 5.56. I was emptying the boxes into ammo cans and dumped some .223 before I noticed and my eyesight is so bad I cant tell the difference.
