Looks like A LOT of gun for the money.
Tisas is also great for letting someone at work practice cerakoting. Cheesy fake pearl grips not pictured.... Yet

I will abuse the thing. I already beat it up trying to assemble it with the caked on cerakote on the rails/barrel bushing area. But it's cheap and just a range toy. It's a win/win.

I think this is the last 1911 I buy without being cut for a red dot.

I can get a Masterpiece for less than a Staccato.

Masterpiece
- All forged, no MIM
- No plastic
- Handfit barrel and slide

Staccato
- MIM
- Plastic grip model, plastic trigger guard, plastic trigger
- Not handfit

Where are you finding a ds9 that’s less than a P? Or are you talking XC?

So a buddy of mine has one. Carry B9R. Overall, extremely nice. However after 500 rounds he sent it back to Tisas to have the extractor adjusted. He has about 1.5 rounds through it now. Not one hiccup. Overall, it’s unbelievable for the money. He paid 399.99 over the holidays for it. My only gripe is the 5lb pull. It’s smooth but you can definitely feel the weight. He is sending his to nighthawk for a trigger job because he loves his other one so much. I think its 375 for full kit.

I might do the same eventually just because you really can’t beat them for the money imo.

I picked up a fun ar 22lr the other day at the lgs. A couple 100 rds through it, I am very happy with it. It’s a Tippmann m4-22 pro with aluminum upper and lower. All milspec so AR 15 accessories fit, even the trigger. It only weighs 4.3 lbs with full 25 rd mag. It has the look and feel and functionality of a real ar. CCI mini mags run great with no malfunction. Cheap, fun shooter!

I've been considering a cheap 1911. Was looking at RIA but may need to take a look at Tisas as well
I only bought it because it was 29x.xx before tax and shipping. It was supposed to be an alternative to carry. However it's too heavy so now just a range toy. While I don't regret it, I don't see myself buying another 1911 (or my first 2011) without it being cut for a red dot.

I have no complaints about this tisas. It ran surprisingly well even when we limp wristed it on purpose using our cheap Tula Ammo. Generally Tisas has good feedback and customer service. You can get higher teir models but then you are approaching or surpassing more higher teir name brands. Good luck.

I'm not a huge red dot fan for handguns so that doesn't bother me.
That makes me sad. Reasons? I'm not a fan on a carry..but for a range gun it is sooo much fun. Reaction time is better because you take out sight alignment. Once you zero the red dot in on target for YOU it's really caveman shooting. Takes something out of the equation so you can focus on other aspects like trigger pull, breathing etc etc. Wish you could shoot my CZ Shadow2 with one, I bet I'd make a believer out of you.

Handgun with red dot is the superior tool, but ONLY if you put in the work to get squared away on it.

I would not recommend a red dot for an average gun owner.

Nice vid. $4400 for something with plastic parts is a tough pill to swallow. At that price point I would cough up the extra 2k to get into an Atlas or Sandhawk.

Gotta get past that, bro.

Look at the tool as a whole…. Law enforcement agencies do not approve / carry Atlases or Sandhawks, but they do Staccato / XCs.

These are higher tier “1911s” that you can actually trust in combat.

The polymer works just fine and has a purpose. Look at Glock… lol.

You have the money…. This is Sunday brunch for you.

Then again, Sandhawk would be BADASS!
