a Whipple Boss 5.0??? I thought a twin screw on a base coyote should put well over 600 rwhp? Somethings not right. That looked more like a race between a bolt-on 12 GT500 vs a bolt-on Boss 302.

yeah low boost for sure and a conservative tune. those boss's have forged motors that thing should be putting down some power.

It's just the standard stage 2 kit through whipple. Whipple rates them at 624 to the crank. But I think they really make lower 500 usually. 11:1 compression is the bad thing with stock internal blown coyotes. But swap pulleys and make in the 600 range safely. I wouldn't go much more though lol

And forgot to mention its just a GT with boss stripes. Also the 5.0 went to fast lane last week for bigger intake and smaller pulley and is putting down 580 rwhp

If its making 580rwhp now then it should be a bit quicker than the gt500 now. The lighter weight will help the gt as well.

Yes the 5.0 raced a 2008 gt500 with around the same mods as the 12 making 560 whp. Put around 1-2 cars on him over three different races

I figured that when I saw the CDC chin spoiler lol! I didn't like those chins at first, but it's growing on me. Good run though!

I love how the tag on the glove box on the GT500 is still on there lol. Boss stripes on a GT is kind of gheyyyyy though, either way nice runs and nice cars.

Nice run. Hard to tell much since it was only one run and the GT500 got a slight jump. Both are nice cars, and it was all in fun. Next time, who knows.
