Just got the 2011 GT500 3.73 on the dyno with the 100 octane tune Justin gave me when I ordered the 800hp kit. Put in a full can of torco with half a tank of 93. Spark advance on the datalog showed 21 degrees of timing and 44% fuel pump duty cycle. Wide band readings were ranging from .78-.80 lambda. Do these numbers look ok? I was hoping for 700+ since I have longtubes/off road h pipe/1 piece driveshaft as well. Got 675 HP 642 torque at 6300 rpm on a dynojet. 75 F 300 ft altitude 60% humidity. Mods in sig!

I have a similar setup on my 09, but i have a 10% lower and i laid down 683hp/688tq on a dynojet on a 93 octane tune.

Yeah I don't get it. This was a 100 octane tune. 21 degrees of timing and 17 psi w/ long tubes

Why would you think you would be over 700

When I talked to Justin over the phone he said it should be at 700 or a little over. What difference does the lower make if you are at the same psi levels? Does it build it up quicker at a lower rpm?

RSAGT what psi are you at and elevation?

Do you have a baseline from that dyno? I am sure if you go around town dyno to dyno your car will throw down over 700 to the wheels on one of the dynos, also the weather could be better.

The lower increase your boost and faster i think.

19.5 psi and i'm in OKC, not sure of the elevation.

That's on the lower end, but within in the range, conditions and how the car was dynoed can easily swing 25rwhp. If you run better gas we can go to 24-26* :)

The lower produces more boost

my setup:

MMR 5.4 Street Mod 1000 (up to 1000HP)short block
- 2.3l vmp tvs
- vmp high flow ported elbow
- VMP TwinJet 67mm throttle body
- 2.4" pulley bolt-on ring
- JLT Carbon Fiber BIG AIR Intake 127MM
- Injectors Dynamics ID1000 Injectors (98lb)
- Kenne Bell Dual Boost-A-Pump
- JBA headers, X-pipe
- Corsa catback
- Spec clutch
- 170* Thermostats
tuned by Justin with 91 octane.

I made 615 rwhp/ 650 tq in dyno jet
was hoping to get better numbers than this numbers.

Isn't 19.5 lbs boost pushing it? I would assume on a daily driver such as mine (even though I drive it conservatively) I wouldn't want to go over 17 lbs on my setup. Correct? Also what kind of fuel are we talking about? lol Nitro RC?

You've got something going on beyond your tune my friend. My guess, heat. Please call us.

i forgot to mention that i have (afco dual fan heat exchanger)

I made data log and sent the data log for Justin and got the update with 13.5 air/fuel ratio in WOT which is lean.

Yeah replied back to you, something else is wrong with your car, it can't adjust lean when i'm adding fuel.

I was just looking at your engine bay picture and noticed you don't have an aux idler. Do you have an upgraded tensioner? Are you sure you're not having belt slip with the small pulley?

datalogs show consistent 17.xx lbs of boost. BJ already noticed there is little to no belt slip. Maybe this dyno just spits out lower numbers than most.

ALBALUMA you sure you don't have an exhaust leak? Are both the left and right bank air/fuel the same numbers?

Did you dyno on your drag radials? Maybe they slipped on the rollers and cost you a little power. Any chance your clutch was slipping a little?
I have nearly the same setup as you but without the headers or BAP. Mine came in at 668/665.

Street tires. What was the weather like when you dyno'd it?
