Can't believe I haven't been on here recently. :nono:

Anyways some of you may remember I had a 2004 Crown Victoria LX Sport. Slightly modded. It looked like this...

Due to an unfortunate encounter on the way home from work in August, it then ended up looking like this...

Insurance, as you'd expect on a car as unloved as the CV's totaled it out (Wise choice as the entire body was done)

So now the replacement for it is now this...

So, maybe now I'll actually be active on here...probably.

Nice! Sweet truck,, man. Im in the market for a '14 F-150 FX4 actually.

- What kind of deals are guys getting now on the '14 FX4 F-150s now that the '15s are coming in
- Are there any '14 FX4's around with the 5.0 V8? All I see is EcoBoost V6;s

I'm an estimator in training and looking at your old wreck it looks pretty bad. Two new door shells easily, work on the B pillar, new front cover, reinforcement bar/pad, hood, left fender, left headlamp, grille, left mirror, etc. That's just what I can see and that's a hefty price tag compared to what those cars are worth. Sucks cause you had a great example of one.

Yeah, it wasn't fun to say the least. The impact on the doors damaged the roof, b-pillar, and dented the rear quarter panel...so it was done. I did get a good deal on my truck though, it's everything I wanted my car to be...only now in truck form.

nice purchase man. I love my EB. It has almost 9k miles on it now. Catch can and tune are a must! My tune made a huge difference. 80lb/ft at the wheels increase is no joke.

Congratulations on your new F-150 EcoBoost. Good looking truck. And a shame your Crown Vic got totaled.

Thanks guys, I'm loving the EcoBoost. Mileage is pretty terrible (15.5 average when it was nice out, low 13 with the horrid cold) but I never expected good fuel economy...especially with a pickup truck that's just as fast as my modded Crown Victoria. Which is kind of sad when you think of it lol.

I have a few things I want to do to it. Tune intake and Borla cat-back system are the main ones. Catch can and a Front mount inter cooler I've heard are good too. Want to wait to see what it will do at the track in stock form before I start playing with it. Love the sound of the turbos spooling up as well :D
