You post pictures of riced out mustangs (save for the actual comp orange TERMINATOR vert) and you call terminators "termi's".

No.

Your couldn't be further from your "inspiration" cars.

Downsize to maybe 20s if you still wanna be that guy. And remove A LOT of that orange interior for a black and it wouldn't be bad.

Its your car...do what you want. But go around posting it and your going to get bashed, just the way it works.

I've been on this site over 3 yrs.... I know how a lot of you guys feel about fobra's (especially with badges) yet I still posted the car and the full journey along the way....

"sitting still, a clone gets just as much attention as an authentic" ( I get it... when u spend more, u want more credit)

But ask your selves these questions....

Is it possible to like the looks of Terminators, without wanting to go fast?

Would you drop a ton of cash on a build, to look several cars that already exist?

Why would a person purchase a real one and remove all of the thing that make it unique i.e the drivetrain?

never wanted a manual transmission, although I can drive them.... but eventually I do plan on doing an automatic coyote swap (possibly boosted), after going through, 3 engines. I don't want to mess with anymore early modular engines...

as far the disliking the wheels, I wouldn't mind having a second set! anyone donating a pair of AFS staggered Cobra 18s I will gladly take them and post new pics!

I see youre not that far from me, maybe ill spot you out in it one day(cant miss an orange car.) I cant stand fobras though and maybe a little too much orange but its your car and your vision so as long as youre happy thats all that matters. Oh and maybe some 19" wheels instead lol

still not understanding how you've gone through 3 stock 2-valves with no bolt-ons or aftermarket tuning?? i'd check your harness and eletrical system, there is probably a defect going to the coils and/or injectors causing a lean condition and putting windows in your blocks.

Car has a donkish swanga pimp my ride flavor to it.....the buick/gm big body crowd would dig it!!

I think it would look 10x better....with keeping the same theme.....if you went down 3 sizes on the front wheels and slammed it on bags while tucking the rears. Just looks too high up right now, and there is no way you can tuck 22's in the front.

The Car is full bolt on minus throttle body... with Tuning and gears.... Its not stock it just doesn't have a power adder... the car is currently dropped sits lower than stock even with rims and with no fender gap... Im open to smaller wheels later... but I still like big rims too.... I like all genres of cars.... from antique classics to 30s on chevys to exotics and monster trucks...

i am glad that you enjoy it and it is your car. if i could only change ONE thing on your car, it would be the rims. You could even keep them the same style, but at the biggest, they should be no bigger than 19"s on our body style. 18s are perfect and maybe you could get away with 19s in the rear, but 22s? :(

The wheels do look out of place IMHO. But I admire you doing what you want with your car, to this extreme. I also admire the fact that you posted it knowing you were going 'against the grain'. Lol.

Also, when you come in a performance-oriented site, there will always be more performance enthusiasts than those that do extreme cosmetic builds like this. If you like it, then you can't go wrong with it.

 I still love this site... its taught me a lot... put my flame suit on along time ago.... but at the end of the day.. aside from Cobra Purist, people flock to the car to see all of the custom work. I still strikes conversation everytime I stop. I have never received any negativity in person

but  "cant win 'em all"

Pull those snake badges.

Not what I like in the way of the car, but I have no love for ppl putting Cobra badges on a non-Cobra car.

I can understand you put a lot of work and $ into the car. Especially if you dont do the work yourself.

Now my thoughts
1. That car is ugly as ****ing sin. Especially those god awful rims.
2. FOBRA's are for homo's. Get a real one or be proud of your GT. You oviously went OUT OF YOUR WAY to make it a cobra look alike. You could still have put all the cobra body mods on without all the badging, and a freaking fake heat exchanger with COBRA written on it in giant letters.
3. Sorry but your a great example of money not being able to buy taste/style.

I'm starting to think this is a troll attempt.

Nobody in their right mind would go onto an SVT enthusiast website and post up a GT badged as a Cobra. Especially one with horrible looking rims like that. I didn't even notice the fake heat exchanger with COBRA painted on it. :nonono:

This car to me looks like something West Coast Customs would have made on an episode of Pimp my ride.

At least the car isn't a real comp orange vert, that would have been the biggest shame ever lol.

Not my style OP, but kudos for being different. I think the seats are sick, but the all orange interior is a little much. How did you paint the dash etc?
