^^ Also, if you're going to see a show, check the "Tix 4 tonight" or something like that booths. They're discount ticket sellers that are legit, basically you go early in the morning (they open at ~10:00 am) and buy tickets for a show that evening. We saw blue man group and got balcony seats for $50 off retail. Definitely worth the wait in line for some discount tickets.

Since you're staying at the Mirage, which btw is where I always stay, the Beatles LOVE is an awesome show. And right there is 1OAK night club.

Take her over to the fountains of Bellagio at night, they go off every 15 minutes at night, different show each time.

Is your wife into cars ? if so, Shelby is now south of the strip across the highway, the LINQ - old imperial - has the car collection on the top floor of the parking garage is very impressive.

Counts Kustoms is a cool place to check out, along with American restoration, and Welderup - vegas rat rods. All are within a five -ten minute radius.

Take her old downtown vegas at night and walk around and see the overhead light show, its either every half hour or every hour, I forget. Just watch your pockets and her pocketbook. Some real shady people down there.

Believe it or not, the buffet at the Mirage is pretty good, as is the one at Planet Hollywood.

Up the street past the WYNN is a 24 hour diner/lounge Peppermills, great food and atmosphere.

Don't do the breakfast buffets on the weekends, they hit you for "brunch" on Saturday and Sunday.

I thought the mirage looked run down.

I've stayed at aria 3x and it's amazing. Next place is Monte Carlo

I stayed at the Monte Carlo about two years ago with the guys when we went to sema, and it was an absolute dump. I would never stay there again. They wanted to because it was cheaper, and afterwards they agreed it was not worth the few bucks we saved.

The Monte Carlo looks ok from the outside, but it looks like Circus-Circus on the inside.
If you are used to staying at the Aria you will never want to stay at the Monte Carlo.

I've stayed at Aria and if that's what you like you're going to be vastly disappointed with Monte Carlo.

Lol that bad??!

Maybe New York New York...

I love the location aria is at but you gotta walk 350 yards to the strip not
Including the 50 foot ball
Fields from your room to the front.

That's why I was thinking Monte Carlo.
My favorite casino is New York New York and Caesars

Yeah it's old and run down compared to the nicer hotels. Give Bellagio a try. I've stayed there a couple times and loved it.

I've stayed at the New York New York. Its right across the road from the MGM and it was a decent place for the money. I would visit the Shelby place during the tour times and do the damn dam trip. I really enjoyed just going to all the hotels and walking around to see the sites. Its alot to do there. Just grab you a brochure at the desk or near by to check out what all they have and have a good time.

Since my best friend is a Pit Boss at the Ventian for the past 8 years, I get out to Vegas about 6-7 times a year and have seen and done just about EVERYTHING Vegas offers.

ALL The cirque du soleil shows are just okay. O is the best one IMO. Definitely not worth the $$$.

Raiding the Rock Vault at the Tropicana--it's awesome

THIS X 65,000

Easily one of the best concerts i've ever seen, and i've been to over 200 of them. Bunch of ex-rockstars flawlessly playing the hits from the 60's, 70's, and 80's with some old school early 80's MTV "Veejay" interviews and stories mixed in.

Afterward, they all take a seat and will sign autographs and chat it up.

Best show in Vegas, Hands Down.

Also, the Jabbawockeez at the Luxor (soon to be at the MGM) is a GREAT show. Worth every penny.

Hoover Dam is a must see, the coaster at NYNY is okay for some quick neck snapping fun.

The car show collection at the LINQ (formerly Imperial Palace) is excellent and is a must see for the enthusiasts on this site.

The Freemont Street (Downtown) Zipline is badass at night and takes you across a big portion of the Freemont Strip.

Helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon is Epic as well.

Whoever said "The Peppermill" wins. Its locally known as a favorite hangout for alot of Vegas strippers when they get off thier shifts. Have had some great times that started there.

To Eat:

Burgr at Planet Hollywood. Killer eats.

Guy Fieri's joint at The LINQ. Great food.

Gordan Ramseys Steakhouse in Paris. The Beef Wellington is beyond Excellent. Pricey though.

That should be more than enough to get you in trouble and have a great time.

Also, if you put a gun to my head and had me choose only ONE show to see there: Raiding The Rock Vault. It is that ****ing good.
