is there any manufacturer that makes steering gearboxes in quick ratio for our trucks. was also thinking of this.

It's a 98 grand prix gtp pacecar edition. Hence my username bluepacecar.Sold it almost 5 years ago to buy the L. Did a little bit of everything to it and best time at the track was 13.98.

The 03-04 has an upgraded steering box from the earlier years. Not sure about the ratio, but it does feel far superior. You can check out the ratios on other F-150s, Expeditions, and Navigators. One of them may work for what you're looking for.

i replaced my gearbox a few months ago and had to adjust the sector gear a tiny bit. but in the process of doing the box i ran the pump dry for a minute and now its tight to turn at idle or when reversing

The 03/04 trucks had a lot of little changes like that, which help to make the truck just a little nicer.
