Looking for some help on a few hubcaps, and this roof rack/luggage rack.
Can anyone place the car with the hubcap? How about that luggage rack? It is roughly 24"x36". View attachment 1693737View attachment 1693738View attachment 1693739View attachment 1693740View attachment 1693743View attachment 1693744View attachment 1693745

Cool thread!

Thought the first looked familiar. Its was used on 80 Fox Ghia (at a minimum).
May have best luck googling p/n on back of the hubcaps.

I've looked for part #s on the hubcaps and can't find any really.
Pretty sure they are all Ford, other than the SS and the smooth type one.
I remember my father had the ones with the red center on my mother's 76 Mercury wagon with the 351. He bought it wrecked and fixed it up (like he did with many of their cars). He painted it a dove gray. The wagon was the "Gray Ghost" on the CB we used to play with in there.

Boom! Thank you! I'm gonna write that down.
There's 2 off the list.

It's a start and just two examples. There's gotta be a "hubcap" collectors club/website out there that has factory data on when they were used.

After I go through all this stuff, I'm definitely going to end up selling some of the older tools etc. I will just never use them and I know someone out there could use a hand tach lol

As a former line tech, I can confirm we are a pack rat bunch. There is NOTHING more painful than throwing away a 7/8's used tube of FIPG... you never know when you'll need that little dab..

I was clearing out my tool cart to make some room for my now at home work tools... I had literally a decade worth of clips, clamps, heat shrink... just all the little shit you toss in your box and never clean out.
