Very clean. I still really like that body style.

Thanks... I think the body lines are timeless on this gen truck.

Would you have preferred a ZF-5 or is the E4OD what you were looking for?

Im a manual guy through and through (as im shopping for a 10r80 s550 so maybe not lol) and from what ive read the e40od is kind of hit or miss and I do worry about it some behind the torque 460.

It was the low mileage, the Dana 60, and overall condition of the truck that had me scrambling to be the first guy to go look at it.

Def would have preferred the ZF in this truck.

For the right price I wouldn't have passed it up either.

Sounds like he wasn’t even looking and just happened upon it.

Poor guy, must be very unfortunate to run across so many simple clean older trucks.

Exactly and exactly.

Its funny because in my life... I never really "win" anything or have "good luck". If im up $200 in Vegas on the BJ table I cash out asap because I know eventually ill be down $2k lol.

I do feel like I "won" with this truck though. I like it a lot.

What are you going to go with the Chevy?

Chevy needs to be sold asap. I just paid the tags which are good until March of 19 and am just waiting for title to come in the mail.

As soon as title comes in it gets listed on Craigslist and possibly eBay.

I need that title to hit soon because the timing is good right now with tax returns hitting everyone's bank accounts.

It should pull 5500+ out of a random buyer.

Anyone on this board or a local friend wants it and i'd likely let it go for under 5... maybe 4700?

My dad and brother just got back from Vegas on Monday. They said NOTHING of a BJ table.

Definitely should have gone with them.

RCLB OBS fords are when trucks peaked imo. A 7.3 would be icing on the cake but it’s still a win in my book.

Nice truck. I had a mint one in wild strawberry and sold it like a dumbass.. I think the 93 to 97 250 and 350 single cab long bed is the best looking Ford pickup ever made. I also like the 460 better then the 7.3. Good luck with it.

I wanted a 1st gen lightning SO BAD when they came out.

I remember looking at brand new ones on local dealer lot every weekend wishing I could buy one.

Nice man. I picked this up with 44k miles. 351w with E4OD about 4 years ago or so. Paid $6200 for it. Got 53k now. Love this old brute. I get more compliments on this than I do my Cobra
