I know I have been a flowmaster basher in the past, as well as many of you probably have. However, the other night I witnessed a bone stock 03 cobra gain 24rwhp on the dyno with the addition of a flowmaster catback. I honestly thought chambered mufflers were a no no on our cars, but I guess I was wrong. I have the Stingers now, but I love that flowmaster sound. I cant really see myself gaining much more power with what I have. Im thinking about giving up the 5hp for the good ol' sound of flows, whats your guys take on it?

I just took off my Magnaflow Catback and replaced it with Flows and a Mac O/R H-Pipe yesterday.......Absolutely awesome set-up if you ask me. I couldn't be happier. It sounds badass. Pretty loud at WOT, but quiet if when you need it to be.
As far as performance goes, I felt no difference, actually maybe a little more on the top end.
I was willing to give up a few hp to get the Flowmaster / H-Pipe sound, but it doesn't seem that that was the case with my car. People talk about power and fitment issues with FM and Mac products, fortunately for me I had no problems with my install. Everything went smooth and fit perfect. The H-pipe was perfect and the passenger tailpipe on the catback stayed a 1/2" away from dampner on the diff. Total install time was about 3 hours taking my time.
All in all I'am very happy I went this route with my exhaust, and recommend it to anyone that is considering this set-up :D

Its fairly quiet on the stock midpipe, as this is what the car had on it. Im sure if you throw an offroad h on there it will sound pretty sick in my opinion. Ill try to post some soundclips when I get my catback on combined with the bassani catted x.

The flowmaster super40's sound muuuuch better than the Borla coffee cans especially with a catted mrt h-pipe.

I've got flows with a offroad h-pipe and it's pretty loud, I've been pulled over twice and the cops have looked for my catts, but they can't tell because the car is so low with the H&R springs.
