First unread when choosing a thread

For a while now, when I click on a thread, it automatically goes to the first unread post.
How can I turn this off?
I could have sworn that it was an option a while back. I've looked for it in preferences and must be missing it somewhere else.

I'm not sure. I'll have to look into it.

I used to not like that feature, but have really come to appreciate it.

I love it too, and I never knew that was a option to turn it off.

On occasion when I click on a thread i've already read, but with new posts, it takes me to the first post and I have to click on "go to first unread."

98% of the time when I click on a thread it just takes me to the first unread post.
