Yesterday I took out my 2011 gt with a 2.3 Whipple out to the track. The DA was nice at 780. The best pass of the day was a 11.913 at 121.81. My car ran 11.9 at 119 with a CJ setup on the same tire. The car is trapping only 3 miles more with 7psi. Car has no cats, 2.3 whipple,lu47 and 3.375 pulley that is making 7psi right now with a roush CAI. I think my trap speed is weak for the extra power the blower should be making. The A/F is at 11.4 and the timing is at 16 when I dataloged for tuning, I did not datalog at the track. What trap speeds do you guys see with a similar setup on a 6speed MT.

How do your 60' compare? You make more power so you should make time on the back end, but if you're blowing the tires off the 60, it may make up for it.

My 60s where 1.85 with the cj and 1.9s with the blower. The tires did spin a little in 2nd but usually with low 60s you see higher trap speeds.

Yup^ need 60' comparisons.

Lu47's enough for the TVS 2.3? ( not familiar)

If the 60's are close you've definitely got something going on. Did you send the data logs to the tuner?

Were you spinning in the 2/3 shift? (You'd be outside the 60', so hard to tell by timeslips)

I made 10 passes and all looked similar. I think the car should trap somewhere in the 127mph. Just wanted to find out what you guys are traping before contacting my tuner.

What are the other mods to the car? I'm sure the tuner would've loved to see you data log it at the track. I'm sure there's more left in it but you've got to data log it for your tuner, especially at the track

First time at the track with my VMP I think I went 11.90's at like 124? With nothing other then tune updates I went 10.90 @128. It'll get better man

I went 130.15 with a tvs that hit 8.6psi on the dyno.

Between it being hotter out, and the PD blowers heat soaking that could be an issue. Who tuned it?

The car is 3900 pounds with me in it. It was 3800 pounds with the cj. The coolant was nice and cool to the touch. The temps that night were under 70 degrees. I was hoping for trap speeds north of 125.

You need to log at the track. What's IAT2 at? If IAT2 (iow Boost Air Temp) is high, the car will pull a shit load of timing. Got colder plugs in it? LU47s are ok for stock pulley as long as you keep the rpm to 7K max. I did over 120 on my stock 2014 loaded GT with 100 shot of N2O so, something is definitely not right for you.

I think you need to drop the pulley size and shoot for 10lbs of boost and get a tune revision. That should put you in the low 11s and in the 10s under good conditions

I did do one data log with a kiwi obdll adapter for a phone. It showed timing at 16 to 7000rpm and after 7000 dropped to 15.
AFR was at 11.4 throughout the run and intake air tamp 1 was 78 degrees. The tires I have on are 285/30r20 nitro nt555 g2.
Same tires I ran with the cj. I know it can be quicker with a slick
but I like to see what it can do on a street setup. That's why I am more worried with trap speed than time.
