It’s not the tris or low back… It’s the seat and ass bone. Maybe my ass isn’t phat enough like yours…

But you do you boo-boo I’ll stick to my
Electra-Glide Classic. I can ride a thousand miles EASY just stopping for fuel. Can you do that on a 600 GSXR?

You see the new ST models of those? Standard bags and longer suspension for more lean angle, chopped front fender and 117 engine. Pretty sweet bikes

I just learned about those STs last week. Bad ass machines!

And they get mid 40's mpg... time for a new DD? lol

I'd do a properly built road or street glide any day of the week and 2x on Sunday.

To each their own but I just don't see the appeal.

I'd sacrifice a bit of comfort for enjoyment all day. Those things are the Lincoln Town cars of motorcycles

You'll get there one day... trust me.

We don't stay 25 years old forever, unfortunately!

A friend has a wide glide or street glide or some other version or a slow Harley. He use to ride in front of me or else I would look back and he wouldn't be in sight. Riding with him was like sitting through a church sermon. I've never been on a ride I can remember when a HD was involved and everyone enjoyed it.

Yeah man that's what everyone says. I'll be 35 this year and still stand by my "crotch rocket" but like I said, to each their own

I rode an r6 at 35 and very much enjoyed it.

I turned 44 last month.. These days I like the idea of more of a "cafe" style bike--more upright seating--or even the HD I posted above.

They all have their highlights I suppose.

But if someone were to give me a modern Ducati racer... I'd gladly take it and ride the shit out of it haha.

@OP, never mind all this dick swangin'...

practice starting, stopping and low speed maneuvers, over and over and over and over until you think you're ready and then practice some more.
Keep your head on a swivel.

This one has caught my attention:

I've seen a few others of the same model for similar prices not too far from me too. Seems like a pretty tame bike that's not crazy powerful and is light. Great gas mileage. This one isn't too old and has low miles
