so after surfing the classifieds and researching wheels for forever i realized that ccws and true forged rims are my favorite of course but theyre just out of my price range. so for the money i was leaning towards going with 18" AFS reps. currently my car is on staggered chrome 17s. the more i looked the more i realized i wanted something a little different than the same wheels just an inch bigger. then i stumbled across this thread and fell in love,

http://www.svtperformance.com/forum...n-these-wheels-terminator-forgestar-f14s.html

Forgestar F14s, awesome wheels from what ive seen for a great price. i think they look sick on his cobra and was going to order the exact same setup, gunmetal and all for my car which is sonic blue btw. there was a time when i contemplated black chrome so i got in touch with forgestar and unfortunately they dont do black chrome but they suggested "black graphite" which is a silver base with two layers of tinted clear. this is what they look like,

so i ordered them, $1580.00 shipped to my door in 6-8 weeks. its gonna be a long wait!! i got them in 18x9+20 and 18x11+23. now im looking into tires and have heard nothing but great things about toyo r888s so i was going to run those. id like to do a 335 in the rear but they only come in a 30 series sidewall, and the front would be a 35 series. wouldnt that look funny? toyo doesnt make a 315 35 r18 either. the biggest size is a 305. so im kinda stuck, i love my 315s now and dont want to go narrower on an 11" wheel. im running nt05s all the way around right now and theyre a great tire but they dont hook in second for me and i really want to try the r888s. what do you guys think? would a 35 series up front and a 30 in back look goofy? i really want to go 335! they look sooo mean!

Assuming you'll be running a 275/35 up front, then the 335/30 will actually have a tad more sidewall. it's an aspect ratio thing to just because it's a 30 sidewall doesn't mean it's smaller than a 35 when the width is so different. deff go with the 335/30's.

and my god those wheels are beautiful in that black graphite. car is going to look friggin amazing man.

thanks man im really pumped about them, i think theyre gonna look great. i know i will have to roll the fenders and im assuming with 335s id need lowpro subframe bolts. anything else id have to do to go that wide?

Great choice. you will drop some significant weight as well.

i think black graphite is their best finish. I am ordering some cf5 for my gt500 in that finish.

Strongly considered ordering cf5 for the terminator as well and having them chromed by Cali-chrome which is 50m away from Forgestar. Probably will end up just buying 10.5 afs reps for the terminator.

315 is the width in millimeters
35 is percentage of the width, which is your height
Because its a percentage you can have different combos and similar if not the same height

Congratulation! Gorgeous wheels.. I know you said toyos , i run the Toyo TQ 315/35/18 and absolutely love them!! They are wide and grip and the 35 sidewall has just enough sidewall meat to give and grab. Heres a few shots..godd luck!

How wide is the rim your using?
Any rubbing with the 315-35-18?
Are you using a 40 in the front?if so what size?

You got any side shots from a little distance
To see the sidewalls together?

Well it sounds like 275 35s up front and 335 30s out back would look good. I'd like to see some sidewall shots of the ^^^ wheels

My old setup was 275/35/18 Proxes up front and 335/30/18 R888 out back. Its perfect on these cars.

Good deal. Although I'm not excited about rolling my fenders. Scares me! Why did u go with the proxes up front? They last longer?
